BIO:
Sparkly Pony is a DJ and producer known for bouncy rhythms and dreamy atmospheres. A lifelong lover of dance music, he began DJing in his teens. As co-founder of SWEAT, a queer & trans collective, he’s helped shape the Swedish and Danish club scenes since 2014. SWEAT is known for uplifting queer artists and creating joyful, intimate dancefloors—including its Berlin debut in 2022. Sparkly Pony remains dedicated to crafting dancefloor experiences that celebrate connection, freedom, and the vibrant spirit of queer nightlife.

Our latest compilation features seven artists: Mirko Loko, Fitzherbert, Works Of Intent, LEVOS, Hilit Kolet, Monfort, and Marco Bailey.

Mirko Loko, a prominent Swiss talent, known for his work as resident DJ at Couleur 3 and Loft Electroclub, and artistic director of Polaris festival, contributes "Mind Your Step." His releases include those on COD3 QR (under the alias Bel Air Ltd.), Planet E, Border Community, Cocoon, and Visionquest.

Fitzherbert, a producer and DJ, began his musical journey at age 9. After gaining attention as part of the duo Lakechild, he brings his solo sound, blending disco, funk, house, and techno. His previously self-released "Short Trip to Space" is now featured on COD3 QR.

Works Of Intent, a UK-based mix-engineer-designer-essayist and activist, offers productions rooted in the UK underground with techno and pop influences. A master of live edits and four-deck wizardry, he is also project manager of DAYTIMERS and a designer and mix engineer. His track on the compilation is "Erase It."

LEVOS, a rising Australian talent from Sydney, is known for his record label and party series CG Discs, and explosive DJ sets. He also pushes the Sydney dance scene with Jazz Doof parties and performs live as Flux State. He brings a D&B touch with "Hood Oos" to COD3 QR.

London-based DJ and producer Hilit Kolet, a classically trained musician and veteran of Black Market Records, delivers high-octane DJ sets and sharp productions. Her track "Sunbed Tripper" features the spoken words of Juliet Mendoza.

Monfort, the new alias of Spanish producer and DJ Albert Salvatierra, makes his COD3 QR debut with "La Musique." His sound emphasizes strength and precision, crafted for both dance floors and attentive listening, with this track showcasing a more introspective approach.

Marco Bailey, a Belgian techno luminary with over three decades in the industry, contributes "Sweet Irony" to close the compilation. A regular on COD3 QR, his tracks have also appeared on Intec, Bedrock, and Cocoon.

Funk Machine marks a second release on Big Baba Records for Edaldo who goes big with four electrifying tracks that are perfectly tooled for open-air and summer dancefloors. The title cut brings big, bright, bold disco-house anthem vibes with full-throttle vocals and piano stand, 'People' has a more Italo-disco vibe with an infectious vocal hook and nice retro bassline and 'Jah Noon' is a club-ready remix of a rare Yemeni groove that melts disco and indie-dance with an oriental twist. Last of all is the acid-infused Kwaito cut 'Johna' with classic cowbells and snaking bass. These are big tunes but they don't lack class.

Electronic music innovator Cormac returns with his latest EP, Gone, due for release on July 25, 2025, through his own imprint, Polari Records. Intimate, emotionally charged, and rooted in queer expression, this project follows the success of his acclaimed singles Heartcore and Leather n Lasers, tracks that have become anthems on queer dancefloors worldwide.

The EP features four distinct interpretations of the title track. Renowned Italo maestro Chinaski contributes the main mix, while electronic legend Ewan Pearson delivers both an extended club version and a deep, atmospheric dub mix. A cold EBM-style version comes courtesy of Fred Terror, a rising French producer whose work has become a fixture in Cormac’s recent DJ sets. The release is mastered by Matthew Styles and showcases Cormac’s distinctive signature: a forward-thinking take on Italo disco, infused with elements of Hi-NRG and new wave pop. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Patrick Cowley, Bobby O, and Soft Cell, Gone blends synthetic production with raw emotional honesty.

"Gone‘‘ began as a poem, a personal reflection where I told myself I wanted to move beyond heartbreak and choose love, despite the wreckage it had left behind," says Cormac. "I questioned if love was even real anymore—I wasn’t sure. Like many of my tracks, the narrative involves a dancefloor, but it could just as easily be a darkroom, a leather bar, or a gym class - drawing on retro gay aesthetics. If love is real, it can blossom in these spaces just as much as anywhere else."

This EP marks another milestone in Cormac’s ongoing mission with Polari Records: to showcase music that celebrates and preserves queer culture. Named after the secret language once used by LGBTQ+ communities in Britain, Polari has grown into a vital voice in contemporary electronic music, pairing genre-pushing releases with artwork from LGBTQ+ visual artists.

As both a respected DJ and cultural archivist, Cormac’s impact extends well beyond his productions. His work as host of the Queerly Beloved podcast—where he explores the history and future of LGBTQIA+ dance music—has further established him as a steward of underground queer culture.

FACTORY SETUP nace gracias a una serie de DJ sets en formato back 2 back que comenzaron Joseeph y Zhino a mediados de 2022 por el simple hecho de compartir el gusto afín que tienen por la musica. 

Zhino y Joseeph se conocen en Bar Americas, ambos residentes del mítico club de Electronica en Guadalajara, MX, y descubren que tienen gustos muy similares. Joseeph invita a Zhino a un B2B en julio del 2022 y obtienen una gran aceptación del público. Después de varies DJ sets en conjunto y de encontrar el sonido que quieren proyectar, deciden bautizar el proyecto con el nombre de FACTORY SETUP. DJ sets, producciones y edits que van del House al Techno y al Trance, principalmente temas olvidados y desconocidos de finales de los 80 y de la década de los 90 y 2000, todo esto combinado con musica actual que mantenga o se acople a ese sonido.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue is pleased to welcome back Argentinian producer Gero Pellizzon with his first solo release on the label, the Sonar EP. After making his debut earlier this year on the We Are the Future 2025, Vol. 1 compilation, Gero returns with a project that highlights his melodic sensibility and finely tuned approach to progressive house.

Alongside the original, the EP features three diverse remixes from an international selection of artists. Argentina's Kevin Yair delivers a deep and hypnotic take, while US-based producer Ev Rymd reimagines the track with his atmospheric and textured style. Rounding out the package, Brazilian duo Cipriani & Hans Gerd join forces for a collaborative rework, infusing Sonar with driving rhythms and a warm, emotive edge.
