But PillowTalk isn’t just a hushed conversation before bed — it’s a genre-blurring, soul-stirring band that’s been crafting heartfelt, groove-laden music since 2011. Born one electric summer in San Francisco’s Lower Haight District, PillowTalk — comprised of Sammy Doyle, Michael Tello, Ryan Williams, and Shane Duryea — fuses classic R&B, boogie, disco, rock, and house into something uniquely their own.

Now, 2025 is set to turn up the volume. With a fresh lineup and their third full-length album on the horizon, Body of Work is poised to take over your speakers, energize your dance floors, and light up your festivals. This new LP sees the band evolve again, introducing new members Hannah Noelle (background vocals), Tate Masimore (guitar/bass), Collin Brown (keys/ synths), and the ever-magnetic Greg Paulus (trumpet). The sound? Think jackin’ gospel house meets urban funk, electronica, indie rock, and future R&B — a full-bodied musical experience that lives up to the album’s name.

Rooted in passion and fearless experimentation, PillowTalk refuses to be boxed in. Their motto, “D.A.G.” (Destroy All Genres), borrowed from a legendary underground SF DJ, says it all. With sonic influences as wide-ranging as the Talking Heads, The Police, Kraftwerk, Sam Cooke, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Heard, and Theo Parrish, their music is always surprising, always emotive, always real.

From the studio to the stage, they’ve put in the work, with releases on Bar 25 Music, Crew Love, Visionquest, Life & Death, Dirtybird, Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company, Kompakt, and D-Edge, along with remixes for icons like Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, HVOB, Soul Clap, and more. Their collaborations read like a who’s who of the underground: DJ Tennis, D.O.P., Ruede Hagelstein, Thugfucker, Deniz Kurtel, Tone of Arc, Soul Clap... and that’s just the beginning.

Saladin est né dans une enceinte de musique! Depuis son plus jeune âge il baigne dans le milieu du hip hop et de la danse. Alors à peine âgé de 23 ans , il se retrouve à officier derrière les platines auprès des meilleurs résidents locaux, notamment au PULP puis au CHOC'LATE avec DJ sphinx. Brillant de son talent en ouverture de grands noms de la house, il prend des galons sans perdre sa couleur hip hop . Saladin est un vrai baroudeur musical, il vogue aisément entre les styles musicaux sans sombrer dans l étiquette du DJ généraliste. Il prend la résidence du club SANCTUARY au Mazagan oú il s'impose comme un DJ club sur lequel il faut compter. Son habileté à manier les foules et à les faire danser n a pas échappé à un expert du domaine, en la personne de Brice Bonnot ancien gourou du THEATRO quI l'invite à prendre le gouvernail musical de la MAISON B, nouvel antre du clubbing à Casablanca . Depuis il n a cesse d enchanter les foules sur le Dance Floor ! Saladin utilise son expérience pour être au diapason avec sa foule et l inviter à un voyage musical chaque fois qu' il se retrouve derrière les platines !
