This week PsyBaBas proudly presents the Hungarian duo INIT PRESET & RIZOMORF (Liquid Monkeys Tribe / D Noir Records) live & direct from the studio.

“I am RIZOMORF aka. Bendegúz Nagy. I was born in 1993. I believe connections between people are just as complex as Mycelium. When this kind of connection appears important informations get shared. I started playing on an old bass guitar back in ’09, I tryed myself out in multible music genders like grunge, old rock, pop, funky, classic rock, metal core, djent metal, blues and jazz. Init Preset and I used to play together in a metal band. Later in ’14 I moved on towards electronic music and since I met lot of interesting hungarian producers.”
INIT PRESETt is Gergő Tóth. Born at ’93 in Hungary. First time i got guitar lessons,and start to learn music. Few years later, i created a Metal band and play and wrote many songs. 2013. I went to my first psychedelic party, and i felt to have to do this. :)
2014. Started Init Preset project. 2014. I went Sound engeener school and i learn mixing and mastering techniques.
I and my friend Rizomorf we started to make psychedelic forest sounds in 150-160 bpm with fat basslines and strong FM leads. Besides that they are made faster tracks with Hitech/Dark inspirations.

Since this is a collaborative endeavour which has been taking place during lockdown we thought as flavours with food intensifies when being pickled
We would create a theme revolving around Our Minds Being pickled in formaldehyde, however we added a bit of CapeTonian spice to the word using “Vrommel” which alludes to the collaboration between friends, and as we have been in lockdown, so our musical favours have been intensifying. See this as the start of a series of amazingly crafted releases incoming this year as we slowly move out of lockdown hibernation. It has been a tough time for everyone, but on the plus side, our artists have been producing around the clock to bring you some very tasty ear candy. This release will be FREE ! However, we urge you to open your hearts(And wallets lol) and donate what you can to these artists who have not been able to play gigs as we all have been experiencing more and more financial pressure. In anticipation of the collapse of modern society, Kri Samadhi, Primordial Ooze and Psypien combined their considerable psychedelic powers to form 3G1K during the year that preceded the great Fuckening of 2020. After making their initial historic pilgrimage to the Temple of Bojangles to rediscover the ancient scriptures of CID - Kri, Scott and Oliver’s crown chakras opened to the sacred frequency of 3G, an experience which would bring them each instant enlightenment and immortality. Sequestering themselves into their respective spirit caves for a nuclear winter of meditation, they each had respective visions of the truth: Like a combined power sword, only 1K simultaneously wielded by the Three Swordsmen can control 3G. Having chanced upon what was likely the only way to save mankind, and maybe the universe as a whole, our three heroes got to work. What follows is the product of their brave endeavors.
Along the established path they set with their first EP, this new collection of tracks is yet another roaring cacaphony of wild yet precisely tuned modular and hardware experimentation, tamed and herded into a cohesive jam by a low end so fat it would make your daddy blush”
