MUSICAL MOON MUSING EXPERIMENT - Sept. 17th / 2020 to Aug. 22nd / 2021 ( This ones a bit late )

When we did this project back in 2020 / 2021 the Sagittarius Full Moon was in a full lunar eclipse, and when your doing a moon musing mix that can pose a problem. lol. So, we turned inward and skipped this mix to reflect, turn inward and grow from our experiences. Today on June 4rd - 4th, 2023 we get to finally finish this series in proper big Sagittarius Fire fashion!! Get ready to dance, smile and release.

This is the final installment in a 12 Synodic month journey to capture the correlation between sound, emotion and cosmic energy. Each mix is created within the 13 hours leading up to the crest of the moon cycle which is the best time to harness the power of the new / full moon. Through meditation and connecting to the current astrological energy ( signs, planets & elements ) I then create a DJ mix from that inspiration. This mix is a product of that process. This is a collaborative project with Amaris ( Tanya Lee ) from Body Art Motion who has consulted on the overall project as well as provided the incredible opening & closing meditations.

Full Moon Sagittarius

Enjoy a Healing Sound Journey to open and activate your 3rd Eye Chakra. 
The 3rd Eye Chakra, or Ajna, is located on your forehead, it is essentially responsible for being able to see or sense things that can’t necessarily be seen with the naked eye.
But there are many things that this particular chakra is responsible for. In fact, it is considered by many to be one of the most important chakras because it has the capacity to play a major role in so many different physical aspects of the human body. 
At the same time, it also plays a crucial role in your mental, emotional and spiritual development.

As far as your physical body is concerned, the third eye chakra is typically associated with your eyes, ears and brain. As such, it is also directly connected to your nervous system. It has impact on both your pineal and thyroid glands. 

If it’s overactive or not active enough, it can have a direct impact on the way that you feel. 
The third eye chakra impacts you on an emotional and mental level. This is the chakra that helps you see the bigger picture in life as opposed to only seeing what’s right in front of you. It also controls your sense of imagination and has a great deal to do with your creativity. 
People with a well-balanced third eye chakra often feel quite peaceful, even tranquil. They may feel this way in the face of some fairly monumental challenges, allowing themselves to remain calm when other people may be in a state of panic. This is largely because the third eye chakra gives them the capacity to focus on the things that are truly important.

Respective organs are pituitary gland, spine, lower brain, left eye, nose and the ears.

Its associated color is Indigo.

The Ajna is associated with several characteristics:
- vision
- intuition,
- dreams
- perception
- insight
- equanimity

For this Sound Journey I used the planetary frequency of Venus (221.23 Hz, according to "the cosmic octave" by Hans Cousto) to open and activate the third eye Chakra (Ajna). Supported by instrumental elements, organic percussion and natural atmospheres, this Sound Journey provides a deep, meditative Sonic Experience.
