This isn’t easy for me to say, and it’s something I’ve wrestled with for a long time. But I want to speak to you not just as a performer, not as the voice behind the songs you’ve played on repeat but as a person. Today, I’m choosing to step away from the stage. I am stepping away from fame. Being a vocalist has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Music gave me purpose. It gave me a way to connect with you, to share pieces of my soul, and to feel less alone in this loud, complicated world. Every cheer, every message, every shared moment—we’ve built something beautiful together.
But fame… fame is a different kind of weight. Behind the applause, the interviews, and the flawless photos, there’s a human being who wakes up with anxiety, who feels the pressure to be perfect, and who sometimes just wants to breathe without being watched. The spotlight, as bright as it is, can cast long shadows. And in those shadows, I started losing pieces of myself. I’m not quitting music. Music is in my blood, in my bones. I’m just choosing to find it again without the pressure to be “on” all the time. I need time to heal, to rediscover who I am when the mic is off and the cameras are gone. To my fans thank you. Your love has carried me through more than you know. But now, I need to carry myself through this next chapter.
