I added some guitars to TDK's excellent "Hoovering With a Hangover" from Chiptunes = WIN vol.2 (https://chiptuneswin.bandcamp.com/album/chiptunes-win-volume-2-2). This track was my favorite on the comp, and having the chance to work on it was really special for me. It got even sweeter when I got to talk with TDK, a real gentleman who contributed to the mixing and mastering to bring this awesome final result.

Glenntai is a musician specializing in electronic music that uses obsolete computers along with modern technology to make solo albums and video game soundtracks. He’s best known for his contributions to the Chiptune community; an international, underground community that focuses on sound design and music composition on old, obsolete hardware for their unique sounds. You might have caught his performances at PAX East, MAGFest and other shows across the Midwest and Eastern border of the United States.

after realizing she's not once left her apartment since she moved to the city, she earnestly sneaks past his room, eagerly venturing to the cafe downtown. wind surrounds her blossoming anima and carries her through various side streets and alleyways.
it's getting quite late. completely dark. she checks her glowing screen and blurs the white digits into her flimsy persona's unconscious. 
the street light gently streams soft light upon her and as she looks past it she notices the elegant moon placed between two structures.

COLOURS is my debut album wrapping up my college experience and entering the world as an independent creative and engineer. 

PRYZM is my metaphor for the assimilation of different influences across the spectrum of music. Music can be expressed in many different ways, and my motivation to compose is to learn all of these different expressions and merge them into my identity as a composer.

It's finished. I can't work more on it. It's been almost 5 years, maybe even more. I hope you guys like the finished tunage. There's some minor instrument, melody volume adjustment differencies from the wip version.

This track was written for the 'ChipWINter Wilderness' compilation and marks my first foray into drum & bass. Written entirely in Famitracker using VRC6, then recorded off an actual Nintendo Entertainment System using a PowerPak.
