This collection features 15 reimagined tracks from Encounters' debut album "A Path Beyond," each meticulously reworked by a constellation of electronic maestros—legends like Kaya Project and Bluetech, rising stars such as Globular and Cosmic Trigger, and new pioneers like Enigmada and Snowdrop. The musical alchemy unfolds within a dreamscape of downtempo electronica, intricately woven with organic instrumentation and potent melodies. Adding a final brushstroke, the album's artwork has been rebirthed by Evan Bluetech, echoing the remix ethos to its visual core.

We are defining music that moves us the most and encompasses the possibilities of sound and creative sound design  - emotive, exquisite, uniquely groovy, and all the spaces between. Over the Moon invites you on an immersive journey of music exploration: one that touches your heart and tickles your brain.

In 2021, for DJ Maggie's birthday, Evan Bluetech came forward with a special idea: starting the label "Over the Moon." He recognized that Maggie had the perfect mix of skills for running a record label. Her keen sense for picking out gems in the downtempo genre, coupled with her vast network of artist relationships, made her an ideal choice. While Evan initially collaborated on the label's foundation, he's since stepped into an advisory role, providing insights while DJ Maggie takes the helm as the driving force behind Over the Moon. Bluetech's latest tracks, stemming from the forthcoming "Spacehop Chronicles Vol. 2" release, remain a key part of Over the Moon's lineup.

DJ Maggie carefully curates the best of downtempo electronic into lush, playful and deeply replenishing sets that invite listeners on shimmering audio odysseys. Whether leading flights to the depth of the heart or the outer dimensions of the cosmos, Maggie pilots music masterfully as a multi-dimensional tool—for joy enhancement, energy boosting, community building, a safe space for retreat, a salve for helping heal pain, or a focus-enhancing medium to optimize creativity or productivity.

Evolving her own brand of intuitive sound at the legendary Southern California desert gatherings of the groundbreaking Moontribe Collective and other conscious parties and festivals, Maggie soon established a reputation for her heart-expanding sonic rides. This eventually propelled her into the path of her current collaborations with esteemed downtempo artist and producer, Bluetech (Evan Bartholomew) and their labels Behind the Sky and  Over the Moon. Her first compilation, a 2xLP entitled ‘Matters of the Heart,’ was released in June 2021 on Behind The Sky, and she began releasing through Over the Moon in October 2021.

People tell me amazing stories about how the music has touched them, and for that I'm eternally grateful. It's the main reason I keep doing this - human connection through the universal language of music.
