There are still first times happening for me in Europe, even after travelling and DJing the continent for almost 25 years now. But I have never ever made it to Cyprus before. So on March 24th it was my very first time on this beautiful island, and it could not have gone any better. The awesome crew of @technohabitsnicosia were such amazing hosts, real outstanding. And what a cool location in the middle of nowhere really. I felt like in the early days of raves. Not to mention the amazing crowd in the Camelot (yes, indeed it looked like a little old English castle). Cyprus, I feel a whole lot of love for all of you there. What an awesome event you put up, I cannot say enough how thankful I am that you invited me and I really hope to be back super soon. Maybe in the summer? So now I am happy to share the 3+ hour set I got to play there with all of you. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it. It is filled with loads of upcoming and current CLR releases by the way. Try and spot them.

Ovums 20th birthday celebrations continues with the return of Itamar Sagi, an artist who first featured on Ovum back in 2009 with the amazing Fiona/Agnes Blue. After a five year hiatus from the label, he triumphantly returns with the Invisible Key EP. Raised in the hot spot of Tel Aviv, with his artist roots deep in the techno underground, Itamar is from the new breed of the current techno wave. Already well respected, Sagis reputation continues to grow with his unique floor filling productions consistently catching the attention of legends including Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Francois K and others. The Invisible Key EP kicks off with the title track which is classic Sagi. The track slowly draws you in with its twists and turns, bubbling and building and creating a tension on the floor. New Order harks back to the sound of Basic Channel, G-Man, and John Ciaffone. Sagi again builds the tension with vocal samples and effects that deliver a massive punch without ever being over done. For the final cut Dub Superstitions, Sagi delivers a proper techno workout. The track percolates and builds and again Sagis ramps the vibes to deliver a massive finish to this stellar release.
