Warm Trax Vol 1 sees the welcome return of Nacho Marco to Ovum and the follow up to his critically acclaimed “Ghosts” EP from 2013. 

One of the most acclaimed DJ’s and producers from Spain, Nacho’s rich musical history is evident in all of his productions. As comfortable creating a peak time acid number as he is rolling the depths of house, Nacho is clearly influenced by the early sounds of Chicago and acid house and always delivers a modern twist on what is a timeless sound. It’s one thing to take influence from the past, but its quite another to ensure that you keep on pushing forward. 

Nacho finds the balance on ‘Warm Trax Vol. 1’. “On Fire” is acid house at its finest. Constantly building around a twisted acid line and snapping percussion, the track eventually blossoms with incredible lushness. Perfection.

There are still first times happening for me in Europe, even after travelling and DJing the continent for almost 25 years now. But I have never ever made it to Cyprus before. So on March 24th it was my very first time on this beautiful island, and it could not have gone any better. The awesome crew of @technohabitsnicosia were such amazing hosts, real outstanding. And what a cool location in the middle of nowhere really. I felt like in the early days of raves. Not to mention the amazing crowd in the Camelot (yes, indeed it looked like a little old English castle). Cyprus, I feel a whole lot of love for all of you there. What an awesome event you put up, I cannot say enough how thankful I am that you invited me and I really hope to be back super soon. Maybe in the summer? So now I am happy to share the 3+ hour set I got to play there with all of you. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it. It is filled with loads of upcoming and current CLR releases by the way. Try and spot them.
