Biography

Owen Offset is famous in the island of Malta for his passion for techno music.  Offset turned his hand into production in 2014 and signed contracts with a number of Belgian and Dutch agencies. Always looking forward, Offset’s influence with his work as an Artist and his own productions saw the beginning of Techno is the Answer, and started collaborating with international promoters to bring techno to the Maltese dance floors in the name of Techno.
Offset is also the mind behind ‘Techno is the Answer’, the team who is primarily guided by a specific approach in bringing foreign techno Artists to the Maltese ravers. Owen has shared experiences with various international artists. He has played alongside Dave Clarke, Johannes Heil, Remco Beekwilder, Tim Tama, Luke Slater, DJ Rush, Joey Beltram, David Meiser, Pet Duo, Flug and Shifted.
… I get inspired by my deep feelings and by remembering that we are part of something. From the beginning, since I was a kid, in between my emotions were a lot of questions which could only be answered through sounds which later developed into my techno music…

Dirty Groove came to know electronic music in the 90’s; his first few years he
 was let loose into the RAVE scene where he is a man of many faces: Live
 act, active sound system member, label manager and DJ he continually re-
 invents himself and draws his passion from many different styles such as
 Rock, Hip-Hop, industrial techno and other, lets say extreme sounds.....
 Rich from his journey, Dirty Groove offers dark music and tells a melancholic
 tale to help you fade away from reality. A methodical approach to sound and
 its composition and a respectful manipulation of melodies from analogue
 synthesisers and modular, while also pushing an avant-garde and modern
 sound.
