Please don't assume that your "local celebrity" will translate to making good music or money.

Please don't assume that your musicianship or singing ability means you can do it for a living.

Please try to avoid trying to use people or think that you are smarter than people who have been in the business for decades.

Please never think that attaching oneself to famous folk will do anything for your career or bank account.
