I truly believe that any good mix - whether it's a DJ mix for dancing, a love-tape for that sexy person you have your eye on, the perfect soundtrack to eating lobster or (in this case) the perfect tape for spending some time in bed - has to tell a story. I can't claim to be a master story-teller, but i can claim to have a need to tell one - whether you enjoy it or not well thats your opinion. 

I hope that this story guides your dreams and takes you to far away places. The hero - in this case i think it's Alice Coltrane - opens and closes this story with otherworldly beauty that i could no longer leave left in the private collection and inbetween fearless time-travellers provide moments of sorrow, bliss and bent ethereal beauty.

“Cosmos” is a ballad put to drum and bass beats, a slow build rapid-fire composition that mounts up to the chorus chant “I want to be one with the cosmos, I want to be one with the cosmos, I want to be one with the cosmos, I want to be one with the cosmos.” The ending explodes into a bass saturated half time wobble, I transform voice into wails that grow into screams. I imagine the birth of the universe or an exploding star, some sort of cataclysmic hyper energy bust that is disintegrating and becoming something new all at the same time. - Daniela
