It can be said that listening to "Fanatical Service" works as an ethics study that makes us think about what is morally right and wrong. He exposes us to his very own vision of electronic music and serves up 5 techno tracks that are bursting with energy, assisted with a remix by the label top-dog P.E.A.R.L.. Falling Ethics' sublabel Moral Standards presents their first V.A. with a stellar lineup of some of the most relevant names of this era. 

P.E.A.R.L. starts off the 4-tracker with a groovy and stripped back tool, whereas Not A Headliner contributes a rather driving track, typical for his sound. On the B-side Ryan James Ford comes with a heavy thumping track led by staccato synth stabs. To close off the V.A., DJ TOOL has the deepest and most trancy cut with stripped back drums and dreamy synths.

Berlin based producer Xupid lands his next release on Falling Ethics sub label Moral Standards. After his magnificent debut album 'Trust Me' from last year, Xupid once more delivers four explosive dancefloor weapons in his own remarkable style. Working on a high pace he works his way from percussive bass stepper 'Fractal Keel' via the playful hard groovers 'Hexing Hour' and 'Planet Creep' to a more subtle dub house affair 'Direct Dub'. In the middle of all this, label curator P.E.A.R.L. steps up to rework 'Fractal Keel' where he flawlessly elaborates the broken tip of the original into an exciting no-nonsense off beat techno jam.

Moral Standards 008 / Xupid - Hexing Hour EP

The first of 4x4 vinyl releases from the Ann Aimee compilation, Inertia, this opening volume includes cuts from Time to Express Chief Peter Van Hoesen and Fachwerk’s Roman Lindau as well as fellow label recruits Delta Funktionen and Sawlin.

All four new and exclusive tracks deal in techno urgency. Delta Funktionen goes deep and dramatic, Peter Van Hoesen offers up his usual dub-wise textures, whilst Lindau pairs icy hi-hats with a heavy stomping beat. Sawlin offers the trippiest techno with his delightfully disheveled ’Excipidial’ and closes out what is an essential, limited edition vinyl.

Conforce - North To South Part 1 (115DSR)

Part two of the four-part Inertia sampler again serves up four heavy-hitting techno bangers from different artists of the new-school techno generation. Again, each of the tracks is previously unreleased.

First up is Frenchman Marcelus who offers a heavy house and techno fusion, before London’s Sigha goes deep and ominous with ‘Finding Myself.’ Redshape and Area Forty_One close out the package with frozen, static coated sounds and textured techno respectively.

Reading like a who’s who of the day’s most pioneering techno producers, Inertia #2 is another connoisseur selection.

Portugese Techno producers ''Moddullar'' return to Planet Rhythm after their last outing through Emmanuel's ''Arts Digital''. ''Hoosch EP'' is a versatile EP that floats through different styles with great finesse. Whilst on the title track a more dubby vibe is present, in H2O the Portugese duo offers a more soulful approach which is based on a great ambient pad which causes a euforic overall vibe. ''Claustrophobia'' is a texture based Techno cut in the more
traditional sense of the genre.

Moddullar - Hoosch EP [PRRUKD065]

The 12th installment in the Falling Ethics series is an adventurous piece of work. Tensal & P.E.A.R.L. team up on this split EP to showcase their production styles which are mainly built around crafty drum loops and buoyant synth experiments. 
Tensal takes care of the A-side where he takes care of one flaming Techno cut for the dancefloor which is followed up by two adventurous pieces of electronica. P.E.A.R.L. also took care of three cuts on the B-side. The opening track ''Joy Of Rapture'' is a straight forward demonstration of machine heavy Techno.  ''Fall Before You'' is a deep and soul wrenching cut that showcases P.E.A.R.L's more delicate side. "Red Flame" is a piece of horror reminiscent ambient.

Born and breed in Spain, P.E.A.R.L. was first introduced to electronic music through the sounds
of the late 90s and early 2000s, which have played a foundational role in shaping his artistic
identity. Immersing himself in club culture during his teenage years, he developed a deep
connection to the raw energy of Techno music, particularly influenced by the sounds emerging
from the UK and Spain.

In 2012, he moves to Berlin, and a year later, he established his own label, Falling Ethics
Records. Initially a platform for his own work, the label has expanded to showcase a diverse
range of artists, contributing to the global Techno community. Falling Ethics is also known for
its distinctive visual aesthetic and authenticity that has helped to establish itself as a reference
point in the independent scene.

As a performer, P.E.A.R.L. brings quality to the DJ booth: His approach is less about spectacle
and more about crafting moments with love and deeply personal. There’s intentionality in how
he guides the dancefloor, balancing tension with release in a very eclectic way. It’s this
unpretentious yet deliberate artistry that has earned him a quiet respect within the global
Techno community, not as a figure chasing trends, but as someone who understands our culture.
