Raveline 02/11 [RNMD10] Pasquale Maassen - Featured Slaves EP “...melodische Tunes, schräge Einfälle, bangenden Acid, athmosphärische Schieber und klöppelnde Momente...Macht schon beim Hören spass, im Club sicher noch mehr...5/6 Sternen Hardmate” Raveline 07/10 [RNMD05] Pasquale Maassen - Weapons of Choice EP “Pasquale Maassen ist, so scheint es mir manchmal, einer der Letzten, der noch weiss, worum es bei Techno eigentlich geht. Die beiden Tracks der neuesten rnmd-Katalognummer haben beide genug Eier in der Hose, um manch dünne Produktionen, mit denen Partygänger heutzutage belästigt werden, easy an die Wand zu drücken. Während “Laserlights” mit angenehm warmen Distortions die intensiven Chordlines über den oldschooligen Beat mit herrlichem 909-Ride-Einsatz legt, erinnert “Metalswords” einmal mehr an die guten alten Tooltechno-Zeiten -  allerdings weniger brutal, deutlich gemäßigt im Tempo und macht sich dank verzerrter Acidline und drückendem Arrangement nicht verkehrt neben Surgeon und Konsorten. 6/6 Sanomat” Raveline 09/08 [RNMD01] Pasquale Maassen - Not Renamed EP “Als wäre die gute alte Schwedentechno-Zeit mit Beyer, Krome, Mull, Lekebusch und wiesiealleheißen nie zu Ende gegangen kommt jetzt urplötzlich eine Platte auf dem neuen Label “Renamed” daher, die genau dort weitermacht, wo andere Protagonisten irgendwann angefangen haben, in Richtung Minimal zurückzuschrauben. Die fünf hier enthaltenen Tracks knüppeln mit einer gesunden Härte voran, sind dabei aber intelligent produziert und sorgen im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Exemplaren der aktuell erhältlichen härteren Technomusik für reichlich Abwechslung. Mein Favorit ist das sympathisch wubbelnde “Zusammen” auf B2, das ein bisschen so klingt, als wäre der altehrwürdige Modernist bei der Produktion seiner Platte “Dali Bop Horizon” auf ganz seltsamen Sachen hängengeblieben. Und auch sonst rumst und scheppert es, dass es eine Freude ist. Wer also beispielsweise die neonbehoste Hardtechno-Crowd überraschend mal mit ein bisschen Qualität verwirren möchte, liegt mit dieser Platte genau richtig. And tonight we..re gonna party like it..s 1997. (6/6) Sanomat” 

P.Towns (aka Pfly) is hard to place, somewhere between a party DJ and a selector. An all around music head or in his own words, "music connoisseur" with a passion for sharing tracks that he likes with those open enough to listen. As a DJ he likes drama, unexpected transitions, contrast, effects induced madness, the occasional live remix, the rawness of human error and long blends.
With a focus on music first and mixing second, he would never claim to be the best DJ. He is, admittedly, his own biggest fan as he only plays his favorite songs. If you would like to hear a collector with no concerns for genres share sounds from simple pop, rare remixes, banging dance tracks, dusty gems, songs that sound so nice you have to play them twice, strange experimental sounds and a bit of everything in between, then give Pfly a listen!

Broadcasting electronic music without borders. Data Cult Audio maintains an interest in creating a platform for music, sound sculpture and noise artist pushing boundaries, and reshaping the sonic landscape.

Hailing from southern Italy, Sap began his musical journey at age six with guitar, later diving into DJing at 14. A graduate of the Modern Music Academy in Pescara, his early influences spanned rock and metal, but a deep appreciation for jazz and fusion emerged during his studies.
At 19, he rekindled his passion for electronic music at local parties, particularly at Zu:Bar. Two years later, he relocated to Bologna, where he immersed himself in the vibrant techno scene at venues like Link Club and Time Shift events. A move to London in 2016 exposed him to the city's dynamic nightlife, inspiring his foray into electronic music production.
After returning to Bologna in 2017, Sap began investing in synthesizers and drum machines, honing his craft in a recording studio filled with iconic gear. In 2021, he joined Link Academy, an organization dedicated to nurturing producers, DJs, and labels, and became involved with their online radio show.
Today, he blends influences from metal to ambient, creating a specific sonic palette that fuses Sci-fi and deep techno enhancing analog  peculiarity with digital precision.
