A two piece band that favours experiment, being inspired by the energy of the moment and good sounds over rigid formula...we enjoy
 what we do and to be able to play music is a true honour.  We aim to extend honest and positive energy through the tonal arts and never imitate. Further,   our musical ouput is not massive as we believe in quality over quantity...with full energy and belief  going into every studio track. We love the fact that so much excellent sonic work is moving through the world of soundcloud, it is very inspiring and influential.  Peace to all who engage with our sounds..we are truly thankful to you all.

For those paying close attention, this project began long before the music arrived. Long before the signals were transmitted. Long before the world tilted past its breaking point and pretended it hadn’t noticed.

This isn’t performance. It’s process. It’s prophecy by distortion, melody through the ruins, dissonance weaponized. A mosaic of failed systems and burned timelines, rebuilt in layers of noise and silence.

You’re hearing architecture. You’re listening to strategy. Every frequency, every glitch, every warped harmony carries data. Every lyric is a crack in the wall.

Somewhere in the signal:
a map.
a message.
a matchstick.

You are not expected to understand immediately. You are expected to pay attention.

Because nothing here is arbitrary.

Named after Nick’s childhood imaginary friend, Eleanor Collides started life as a lockdown project in March of 2021 when a group of London based musicians got together to support each other in writing, recording and releasing music. 'People Are Taller in Real Life',  the debut album by Eleanor Collides, falls somewhere between Indie, Alternative Rock and Dream Pop. On this album Nick draws on a wide range of influences from the 90s alt-rock of Alice In Chains and Hole, British Indie bands such as Manic Street Preachers and Depeche Mode's moody synth pop
