Argentinian composer

Born in Buenos Aires and initially self-taught, Diego Tedesco (b. 1974) went on to formally study piano, violin, guitar and music theory. His composition teachers were Julio Viera, with whom he also studied counterpoint, harmony and orchestration, and Francisco Kröpfl, who also taught him musical analysis. At the same time, he studied fine arts and graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires. He gained recognition as a composer in 2007 when he was awarded the first prize at the Juan Carlos Paz competition (Argentina’s National Endowment for the Arts) for his work for two choirs, “Amor constante más allá de la muerte” (Constant Love Beyond Death). He has received numerous commissions and won a grant from Argentina’s National Endowment for the Arts in 2011. He was granted with the Stefan Kaske fellowship in the Composers Conference at Wellesley College in 2014 and in the same year won the second place in the most important prize in his country, the “National Award” for Symphonic and Chamber music. In 2016 was premiered his first opera, El Fiord, commissioned by the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires. In 2017 he attended to the Composers conference for second time and won the renowned Koussevitzky Foundation music award. In 2018 he was granted by the Williams Foundation. His Capriccio was the recipient of two prizes, the Juan Carlos Paz prize (2018) and the National Council of Music, Unesco (2019). He attended to seminars with Mario Davidovsky, Jorge Rotter, Augusta Read Thomas, Steven Mackey, Yu Hui Chang, Eric Wubbels among others. 

His works have been performed in music venues in Argentina, the U.S. and Europe by renowned soloists and ensembles like Patricia García, Victor Torres, Dan Lippel, Miranda Cuckson, Lois Martin, Molly Morkoski, Nunc, Bracelet, New York New Music Ensemble, Compañía Oblicua, Counter)induction, KlangKonzepte, Conference Ensemble and Plural ensemble among others.

Sous le nom “stellatum_”, Anésio Azevedo Costa Neto explore les sons, soit enregistré à partir du Cerrado - un dominion/biome au Brésil - soit auto-produit, pour créer des ambiances audiovisuelles qui ont pour but d’étendre notre perception de la nature, en offrant des indices pour percevoir sa propre durée de temps. Anésio est professeur de philosophie à l’Institut Fédéral de Sao Paulo (IFSP) et un candidat au Doctorat de l’Université de Brasilia (UnB), au Brésil.


Under the name "stellatum_," Anésio Neto explores sounds, either recorded from Cerrado - natural environment in Brazil - or produced by himself to create audiovisual ambiances that aim to expand one’s perception of Nature by offering cues to perceive its owns length of time.

Mis obras se inscriben dentro del ámbito de la composición musical, documental sonoro, poesía sonora, experimentalismo sonoro, literatura y cine. Pero en los últimos años mis proyectos creativos se fueron orientando hacia el paisaje y las relaciones sociales y los mundos sientientes desplegados sobre éste.

Surgido a partir de la investigación en el cruce de lenguajes, la improvisación libre y la música contemporánea, el dúo TRoneitor trabaja especialmente con instrumentos musicales construidos con desechos electrónicos y la investigación vocal.
Integrado por Natalia Cappa cantante y performer y Lucas Werenkraut cantante y baterista quien construyó el TRoneitor, un instrumento único compuesto por un set de sintetizadores analógicos a partir de scrap electrónico recolectado en la basura de las calles de Buenos Aires.
El duo conforma junto con el artista visual Pablo Magne el grupo SOUNDSCRAPS con quien realizan performances en vivo.

Bio_Portraits: Retratos sonoros de la naturaleza y del mundo. Proyecto sin fines de lucro para la apreciación del paisaje sonoro como herramienta para la preservación, conservación e investigación de los ecosistemas del planeta.
