Para la entrega número 29 de la serie tenemos el placer de presentarles a @foreign-dj, pseudónimo que utiliza Miguel Vázquez para desarrollar sesiones de electro, IDM o avant-techno.

Tras varios años iniciales pinchando en pequeñas salas de su localidad, donde el trance y el techno formaban el sonido más destacado en sus sets, es a mediados del año 2001 cuando Miguel crea Silverside Collective junto a Iván Marín con el objetivo de investigar y promover la parte más experimental de la música electrónica. Sus comienzos están constituidos por la principal influencia de nombres como Autechre, Aphex Twin, Plaid, Funkstörung, Boards of Canada, Bola, etc.

Al mismo tiempo es cuando Miguel comienza a trabajar en la reconocida tienda de discos Recycled Music Center en Madrid, regentada por Yke. Este periodo durará varios años y supondrá para él un profundo y notable aprendizaje dentro de todos los estilos de la música electrónica.

A lo largo de estos años Foreign ha pinchado en varios eventos de Hard Taste, A.I. Series y en clubs como NAO, Dub Club, Specka, Graffiti, Shagü Club, etc.

Miguel es también miembro de los sellos discográficos Artificial Intelligence y Zyrcadian Editions. Colabora activamente en la dirección de los mismos junto a su creador y director Luis Miguel Espinosa.

After a summer break and a few
 events launched in Bordeaux and Lisbon, @scenecityeu makes its return on Mutant. The concept is still the same for the platform: to showcase the local musical landscape of a few cities through the lens of local artists. This new episode is dedicated to the
 Vilnius scene. 
Together with its partner @palanga_street_radio,
 Scene city invited @quaintas who has been active in the local scene for over eight years. Currently he is a resident show host at @palanga_street_radio with his monthly show ENTR'ACTE and duo project COOL AIR. He is also a collective member of @minimal-lt
 who have run the electronic music night Minimal Mondays since 2006. In this mix, Quaint pieces together a personal perspective of the Vilnius electronic music scene, pacing through the best of its more experimental and melancholic side.
