Trio pop band from Leicester/Birmingham brought together with the love of Good Music, French Films, Fashion and European Culture. 

Margot Escargot are Dorset based purveyors of traditional English guitar rock, strong on melody, universal lyric and the odd surprise for those who crave it. They believe in real songs being written and performed by real people on real instruments. 

"A talent show semi-finalist sitting in a room somewhere, having a song written for him, hopefully getting coke blown up his asshole, has nothing to do with music. No one has an acoustic guitar out, trying to write a middle eight. We are writing that middle 8 right now."

Formed in 2014 initially as a songwriting experiment between Steve Butler (singing) and Jamie Pinnow (electric bass) who drafted in drummer Rick Veall, a hugely in demand drummer in Dorset and guitarists Peter Roberts and Andrew Hurst. The two guitarists play both rock and classical as well as traditional stringed instruments such as lute and mandolin, and ethnic instruments such as sitar between them. Lucy Hackett, on keys and vocals, is a professional music teacher in Dorset schools, musical director for stage productions and all-round sweetie. 

Out of this confetti of musical differences emerged a sound that combines The Beatles with the Beach Boys, the Kinks with The Who, while also managing to include progressive elements reminiscent of Yes and Genesis.

After 4 years of facilitating other creators as a producer, writer or collaborator, Enda Gallery, created delush to share his own deepest and truest experiences and realisations. delush creates to illuminate self-knowledge, inspire wonder, and help create a future he would love to live in. 
This upcoming release entitled The Greatest Gift describes the moments of realisation that make sense of everything.

The song was written and produced by delush and features the incredible Afro-Irish soul singer Tolü Makay and the magnificent African Gospel Choir based in Dublin, Ireland.  

It will be released on November 15th via Welcome to the New World.

He  soon reconnected with Limerick, the birthplace of his musical journey, and its thriving hip-hop scene by collaborating with rapper Strange Boy on the follow-up single 'It’s Alright', which made rotation on 2fm in Ireland, Radio 1 in Germany and featured on the BBC Introducing Mixtape.  (“Superb” - John Kennedy, Radio X // “style and substance in spades.” - Nialler9)

delush is currently working on his album, which is due for release in 2020 and is in collaboration with the grammy-nominated producer duo Christian Rich (J.Cole, Mac Miller, Childish Gambino). 
delush was selected to perform at this year's Ireland Music Week showcase.

Multi-instrumentalist and solo artist originally from Liverpool but now living near London Musically my sound has always been a sort of lo-fi rendition of my favourite types of music. From 60s beat combos to be-bop jazz. My latest release leans more towards 70s film soundtracks, inspired by Curtis Mayfield and David Shire and sounding nothing like them. I like to keep the grain and imperfections of my vintage instruments, amps and recording devices to add to the late night atmosphere.

Gabriel's Dawn are new band from the Midlands brought together through a shared love of melodic pop, jangly guitars and classic songwriting.  
Featuring Gudg (vocals), Fran Feely (Bass), Leon Jones (Guitar) and Stuart Gray (keys).  The band have all known each other socially for years. Kate and Fran had some songs and they asked Leon if he fancied adding some guitar and soon after Stuart jumped on board and Gabriel's Dawn were born.
 
All band members have a musical history before Gabriels Dawn. Kate previously sang with Pallenberg, Fran previously played with Elefant Records act The Silver Factory,  Leon is also a member of Blow Up Records band Alfa 9, and Stuart was in Fence Collective band Viva Stereo and currently also a member of Children of Leir.
 
Taking in influences such as The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, C86, The Stone Roses and Teenage Fanclub as well as sharing a love for the 1960s Culture and soundtracks.
 
The band are currently recording their debut album and looking for options for release for the future.  Live gigs are also planned.
