The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from aitch & Brut. LAP records presents a new split EP, available on 12" vinyl and digital formats, featuring two very promising combos.

The A-side kicks off with "Art Boi Sin" by Click Click & Najeh, a hard-hitting club gem that pays tribute to the New York gay scene. With its catchy vocal samples and driving acid bass line, this track will make you feel like you're in the middle of a wild night out.

The B-side starts with "Tabu Subject" by aitch & Brut, a groovy techno tool that samples alluring phrases. This track is a playful and seductive affair that mixes crisp drums, bouncy bass, and cheeky vocals.

This EP is a showcase of a timeless sound and a testament to the talent and passion of LAP records.

Omni – meaning all-encompassing – is an apt title for celebrating over a decade of existence of Blue Hour Music. Marking the musical diversity and longevity of Blue Hour's imprint, the Omni V/A series brings together a wide range of artists from the full electronic music spectrum, plunging into a pool of techno, trance, breaks and everything in between.

Approaching nearly 50 releases in vinyl and digital formats, remix series and sub-labels as well as limited edition merch, the imprint has swerved hypes, trends and fads throughout its long-running tenure. Platforming quality productions by artists worldwide, Blue Hour Music has forged a name of its own in a landscape that evolves with mercurial speed.

Like Blue Hour's sound as an artist, it's impossible to classify the label's discography into a single category or genre. The two-part Omni compilations ebb and flow between hazy atmospheres and tougher, live-wire textures, colluding into a multi-coloured trip that encapsulates the lush world of Blue Hour Music.

"For our second release, circuit|breaker quips back the stacked offering of CBRK001 with another dynamic double LP, exhibiting some of the best local and international talent that’s cropped up on our radar over recent years.

The label is as driven as ever to build a bridge between our community and the wider electronic music domain, giving artists a platform to preach the sound that speaks to them, and this release is but another stepping stone towards greatness, for us and for them.

CBRK002 opens up with a rolling, gritty number that could only be Fergus Sweetland, as metallic voices beckon forth on ‘Untitled (ARP 1.02)’. Hasvat Informant, whose thunderous reputation precedes him, then storms the barn with the explosive ‘Abispa Ephippium’. The B-side shifts gears to Goa’s Dotdat and his frantically groovy track ‘Holo’, followed by a gorgeous minimal number by Berlin-based Pino Peña – Mia’s Pocket; one that’s sure to get summer dancefloors pumping.

The C-side of the record contains two heaving tracks, the C1 from the prominent force of Cloudy Ku with ‘A Room of One’s Own’, and the C2 from the dark visage that is disgrays with ‘Turmstraße’. The final side of the record has Amsterdam legend Juan Sanchez open the filter with a warm, jacking submission in ‘Indulge’, while the Berliner Marsch takes us home with a devious timbre that will have bodies glued to the floor on ‘Into You."

On this V/A, artists Vel, Less Distress, nuir, Stina Francina, and Sue Lèwig come into their own, sharing the rhythms and textures that echo their artistic prowess and versatility, culminating in a dynamic and richly diverse compilation. 

Opening the compilation on a rumbling note, laced with rippling basslines and psychedelic patterns, Mama Told Ya affiliate Less Distress contributes the earworm 'Sensory Overload'; the hint is in the name.
