Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

He did not sleep for a long time. When he did he had dreams of Endless Spirals. They were good dreams until the one that woke him. He got up then and went direct from that dream to work. He was well into the new story before the sun came up out of the sea and he did not look up from where he was to see how red the sun was. In the story he waiting for the moons to rise and he felt his dog’s hair rise under his hand as he stroked him to be quite and they both watched and listened as the moon came up and gave them shadows. His arm was around the dog’s neck now and he could feel him shivering. All of the night sounds had stopped. They did not hear the elephants and he did not see her until the dog turned his head and seemed to settle into her. Then the elephant’s shadow covered them and he moved past making no noise at all and they smelled him in the lights wind that came down from the mountain. Veytik came down with the light winds and the smell of the Moon. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can put spirals into your deepest dreams. Elias Fassos & Risk (GR), Soble and Serkan Eles are enjoying their time with elephants between space and light.

After striking up a relationship with Behrouz and as fans of his music on labels like Kindisch, Flying Circus, Tribe Called Katori, etc, Nhii has become a great friend to the label and it was only a matter of time before he debuted on Do Not Sit. With Japanese and Polynesian undertones throughout the EP, 'Yofuke no Niwa' features four unique elements of sound rom this diverse artist.

Leading with 'Mrs. Polyevolver', the balance of driving low end and delicate notes is striking and intense. The EP continues with 'Hisoka', which lightly dances across a dramatic and vivid blanket of organic and intriguing elements. 

Rounding out with 'So No Koto', featuring the beautiful strings of Juando, and the title track 'Yofuke no Niwa', which includes a Japanese poem telling a story of 2 girls singing in a garden deep in the night with their soothing ethereal voices.

Orama is a form that takes place in consciousness and does not comes from the senses but from phantasy, as an extension of experiential experience. The form of Orama is not limited to only one “sense” (like vision) and many times can includes spiritual qualities like emotions. Orama is the “compass”, the “light” that somebody follows in order to reach his destination. Is the source of inspiration for the right choices or the new rules while, at the same time, gives the ability to control the rules of a policy by setting the morality that must condition them. Orama is driving the legislator and move him into the right direction to set and fill out the rules in a way that they’re not deviate from the morality and the values of it. The lack of Orama to somebody makes him walking or driving anybody else based on a vague logic or emotion even if he/she is based on acceptable rules that cannot exclude the wrong choices. Orama is the driving force in order to succeed on targets and can drift to individual or collective volunteering. Orama is the new compilation of Shango Records. Archetypal rhythms, otherworldly melodies, and galaxies of possibility converge in Pandhora, a solarpunk-inspired, electronic music project whose France-based founders, Amine and Rémi, seek community over accolades and wonder over predictability. 

Disenchanted with the confines of the corporate world, the duo left their respective engineering jobs in 2015 to embark on a sonic quest. Fusing psychedelia and electronica with moods of melancholia, mystery, and bliss, they began to craft in music their vision for personal and collective empowerment: the curation of dreams, the embrace of freedom, and reverence for the Earth.

The band’s emphasis on instrumental improvisation and artistic collaboration reflects their drive to innovate, share, and experiment. Pandhora’s music, and especially their live shows, elicit strong emotions and deep catharsis. Free-form, unstructured sounds combine elements of vocals, guitar, and keyboard. Ethereal rhythms and eclectic  euphonies usher audiences on a journey with the artists into collective dreamscapes and deep states of consciousness where the possible can be imagined and the true self envisioned. 

Since 2018, Pandhora has taken their live acts, including The Piper In The Sky, Deep Psychedelia, and Evasion, on the road to venues in Europe, the Middle East, Mexico, and India. Join Pandhora on the quest to explore inner worlds and, together, heal and enhance the outer world.
