"I wanted each track to collectively narrate The Meaning and tell a story. I envisioned the titles of the tracks and the emotions expressed through the vocals in the tracks, coming together to form the message of the album + I pictured the music painting the feeling of that message. The message being that we all have our own meaning in life, and its really just about finding it and embracing it. We might struggle in the search for what it is, and sometimes even fail to acknowledge it when its there, but ultimately the aspiration is to pursue that which makes us happy and do what we love. Fresh off the EU tour, we had such an inspirational time connecting with the various communities in London, Leeds, Manchester and Berlin. The highlight for me personally was the opportunity to jump on a guest mix for mr Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Fm at the fabled Brownswood basement.
