The original Alesis Andromeda Trance sounds demo that I posted on Anjunabeats, Gearslutz and Trance.nu forums. The demo consists of a random selection of my personal trance sounds programmed with an Alesis Andromeda A6 analog synthesizer approximately during years 2004-2007, while listening to A State of Trance radio shows by Armin van Buuren, when Trance music was still good and made with soul. I recorded these clips mostly when testing the sounds, so some clips are quantised, some are not. Most sounds have chorus / phaser, delay and reverb in use + compression / limiting. I still have the Andy sitting here by my side, running strong. Will replace the electrolytic capacitors as a preventative maintenance soon.

These were my first impressions when I got my beloved Yamaha EX-5r and tested the factory presets: Impressive soundscapes and funny (but powerful) synth effects. It's one of the rare synthesizers where you can actually find truely impressive factory preset patches. I recorded this  demo in pure, live, straight audio out of the machine without using any kind of external effects whatsoever and you can see that this synth got really impressive clarity and warmth.

For a good example of it's unique and powerful synthesis engine, listen carefully the sound at 01:43. What you are hearing is algorithm called "Water" from FDSP synthesis. Water algorithm transfers any kind of sound (even your own sampled sounds) to something that resembles flowing water!
