Before I say anything else, I just wanna let you know that @paperaviator is my main account and you should totally follow that if you wanna keep up with my bigger projects! I hope I’ll have the courage to tackle new projects now! I’ll try to post there more regularly. Also I might change the account name to something more interesting/professional, so just a heads up. 

I didn’t want to link my main account to this project so I could feel safer exploring new ideas. I got kinda stuck doing lo-fi hip hop, and I wanted to explore all the other genres I’ve been wanting to do, but without the fear of the songs being “not good enough” for my page. I think composing all this music really improved my writing by like 1000%, and i’m really excited to take on new projects!

Thanks to everyone who’s followed me on this journey and listened to and reposted everything! It really means a lot!

ANYWAY, for this one, I wanted to make something really big, since, ya know, it’s the last one. I tried making something that felt like the ending (or the intro?) to a JRPG, since this project felt a like long journey. I think this ended up being my favorite, if not one of my top 5 pieces i’ve written for this!

I Can't Express My Rage

This is one of my first experiments with the amazing Famitracker, a sound tracker made for creating NES/Famicom music.
Very useful and funny to create Videogames music but also for reinterpret every genre of music.

I've been loving Queen since my childhood, and I totally go crazy for Brian May's overlapping guitar style. "Procession" is one of the most amazing album intros ever. So this is my "chiptune tribute" to one of the greatest bands in the multiverse.

I like this song solely because it is in an odd time signature; 10/8 is pretty strange but it does sound hella good.

Despite this being able to run on almost any YM2413, I made this using the Famicom's VRC7 chip, which is a trimmed-down YM2413, which itself is a cost-reduced YM3812. Crazy, huh.
