Lanowa's Day After Day oozes class as a gospel vocal drops over nailed on deep house. Arps, acid, guitar, sax, atmospherics and crisp production add to the soul as this demands to be heard on a big rig in the heat of the night.

Benny Pitcher keeps on the soulful tip with Rhodes, driving beats and jacking bass as the music weaves its magic and ups the energy,

Mexico's La Guardia De La Luz gets more dancefloor than his previous releases on Paper and channels the spirit of the 90s. Trance Alemán De Los 90's builds and hypnotises with a locked in groove as synths and arps create music to lose yourself in.

Finally DSD takes nu-disco tribal with his trademark crisp beats and studio skills over a 303 riff and bass with spacey synth stabs and plenty of EFX.

Born and raised in Mexico City, her style is known for blending jazz, soul and funky house music influenced by the early 90’s sound.
She has a monthly show hosted by her music channel Housepedia Music, where she shares her favorite house tracks and recent releases, most of the time focusing on deep, soul and jackin’ sounds with a Jazzy flavor. She has also had live radio shows via Just Vibes Radio under the name Deep Deliveries, which was more focused on garage sounds.

SPHV001 Deep State EP is a work collaboration between Alex V (artist/label manager) and Common Mode (also known as Replika).
We will start with Alex V on the A-side, his first track called ‘Skyline’ is elegant, deep, and hypnotic with evolving sounds floating around the whole track. The second track called ‘Daintree’ has a milder and melodic approach, it´s full of layers of electronic soft sounds.
On the B-side, we will find the first track from Common Mode called ‘So Demanding’, a cool track featuring classic house beats with elegant pads and analogue sounds. The next track called ‘Wormhole’, features broken beats, electronic arpeggios and vocal samples, it has a mellow mood, perfect to finish this amazing release on 12”.
For the digital version we have included another bonus track produced also by Common Mode and called ‘All about you’, it features fat basslines and sensual vocals too. No more words…It’s all about the music. Enjoy this beautiful release!

Hell Yeah is proud to present the return of Jazz N Palms with a superb new project following the success of his Ses Rodes album. 'Milano' comes on November 25th as a 7" with radio and instrumental versions, and a digital release with Jazz N Palms very own new disco versions. It also has an original video and expressive artwork by Parisian Studio Nokko. 

Jazz N Palms is a jazz-inspired project from Italian DJ and producer Riccio. He started this project after moving to Ibiza and falling under the spell of its ancestral side, its sweet and slow pace of life and the natural rhythms of the beauty in the north of the island. In summer, he served up his fantastic Ses Rodes double album which was dedicated to the original way of life that had remained almost unchanged till the early 80s party explosion. It saw him work with the most talented local musicians and was mixed together with island resident Ben Westbeech. Jazz N Palms is now a regular guest DJ at The Standard and Pikes and has put out a series of much-loved promotional edits on vinyl and cassette over the last three years. 

This new track came about after Riccio heard Piera Martell's 1978 soul-jazz track 'Exotica' in a mix by Phil Mison. The idea was reimagine the song with new lyrics and set in Milan, in the early days when the town was invaded by unusual and exotic palm trees in Piazza Duomo. The song tells the story of a country teenager who is unsure about heading to a big new city after receiving an invitation. The story will retrieve familiar emotions for many of us who have faced similarly important decisions in our life, but this time married to an escapist groove. 

For this release, the original 'Exotica' has been fully replayed by contemporary musicians from the multi-genre Italian ensemble 291out, with whom Riccio has worked in the past. It has new lyrics sung in Italian by fellow 291out collaborator Giovanna Lubjan after permission was given by original composer Salvo Ingrassia. 

'Milano' is a luxurious soul-jazz fusion. It has exotic guitar lines and gently persuasive rhythms topped by the soaring vocal from Lubjan. A steamy sax helps the temperature rise as the track unfolds and traps you under its gorgeous spell. It comes as an exquisite extended mix, radio edit and instrumental.

The title track blends deep proto-house influence with Cor.ece’s soulful vocal twists, evoking late-80s Paradise Garage and an extended dubby synth exploration. The Danny Kane-produced What’s The Word gives deep late nite Larry Heard vibes, and on the flip Crackazat takes Possibly Impossible into a world of blissful deep & stripped jazzy house with his dub version. JKriv extends the original version of Possibly Impossible into a DJ-friendly electro soul romp.

As a digital bonus track, London-born, Maryland-raised, Brooklyn-based DJ Bad Colours twists What’s The Word into an elongated afro-house groover, chopping Cor.ece’s vocals into a hypnotic rhythm.

Cor.ece - Possibly Impossible ft. Dave Giles II (Extended Mix)

Canebrake (AKA Palms & Charms cofounder Samuel Bruce) offers up two new tracks very much in the 'Balearic trumpet' genre, backed with remixes from Max Essa and Minus Yogis (Jansen Jardin). 

First up, Major Barbara takes you on a poignant, yet uplifting emotional journey propelled by a chugging Moodswings' State of Independence-style rhythm. Pads and strings are joined by trumpet playing pure, extended tones. 

Bike Ride 6am is an ode to the joys of cycling at dawn. Organ leads into a lazy, loping groove, the bass keeping time, before dropping into a dubbed out breakdown. Once again, the horn leads, and along with a smattering of squelchy acid sounds, heads back home. 

The Max Essa Remix of Major Barbara does something rather special with the original, and will leave your knees trembling. Additional keys and a harp-like sound, along with some classic Essa guitar, add tension before a perfect resolution. Superb, moody, downtempo chugging. 

Finally, Minus Yogis (stalwarts of the Tokyo-based Jansen Jardin label), up the tempo of Bike Ride 6am, and add percussion and keys. The result is a mellow house workout with a sub-reggae rhythm, additional trumpet parts from Canebrake adding tropical bounce. The sun is a pink haze on the horizon, and the rapidly brightening sky offers you the promise of a new day.
