UNISON is the debut album from PARAADISO, a duo composed of musician TSVI and audio-visual artist Seven Orbits.

Inspired by Italian folk music, noise, ancient choral acoustic compositions, rituals and their functions, the album focuses on conveying a sense similar to those felt in ancient gatherings and ceremonies where the collective physical experience meant heightened stimulation at both the individual level and collective level.

Contrary to individual experience, collective experience is necessarily rooted in (shared) patterns of action and behavior; it has been studied that the sense of a joint consciousness emerges from such patterns of action and a sense of ''relatedness' is developed between members of the group; relatedness is a form of shared identity, which in turn can transform intragroup social relations and future re-Action. Experiences of synchrony and collective emotion induce in individuals a shift between two parallel cognitive “modes”, from the individual to the communal, generating feelings of openness, inclusion, and prosociality and sometimes even dissolution of the self-other distinction.

All human life and all human interaction are profoundly social: our everyday lives do not take place in isolation but constantly require our engagement with other people. The artists unknowingly sought these qualities emerging during the creation of the work as isolation and disconnection raised dramatically over the past two years and have created a piece in response to that which aims to be performed and experienced in a live context as an audio - visual experience.

Four years on from his release on TIMEDANCE002 as L.SAE, Joseph Higgins is back on the label under his flagship moniker Metrist. 

Pollen Pt. I is the first part of a trilogy of records, showcasing Metrist's latest developments in twisted beat-science. The release combines four tracks of rudeboi electro swagger, off-kilter vocal chops and imaginative grooves. 

Since his L.SAE record in 2015 Metrist has released on Where To Now?, Neighborhood and an LP Opal Tapes, here he refines his sound palette even further, striking a unique balance between the avant-garde and dancefloor.

Clemency presents References - her debut EP for Finn’s 2 B REAL. Three deceptively simple percussive pieces, both awkward and elegant.

Each track on the EP feels almost living and breathing; sparse, dissonant synths meet intricate drums and juddering basslines, effortlessly creating momentum and motion across the record.

‘References’ is Bethany Clements Patrick’s first EP under the Clemency alias. She’s a regular behind the decks at Partisan, Soup Kitchen & The White Hotel, and co-runs Manchester’s Mutualism club night, label & NTS show.

Using causality and repetition as a conceptual framework, the release comes with a selection of Clemency’s own references for the record, which includes poetry, literature, geographic coordinates, music and cosmetics - presented at clemencyreferenc.es

O ano é 2020 e você percebe que lhe tiraram toda a lógica humana que lhe pairava, agora lhe resta apenas conviver com Backyardigans e Hamtaros - que todo mundo sabe que falam a linguagem dublada (o português) - você então se lembra que se os mesmos possuem formato humanoide então logicamente todo mundo sabe dançar. A lógica humana esta de volta e a dança também, mas qual dança? Todo Mundo Sabe que é Rabu Mazda. É difícil operar com conceitos não-absurdos quando todo mundo sabe que o disco de Leonardo Bindilatti, aka Rabu Mazda é um absurdo. Na sua estreia pelo 40%, o sujeito que pairou por todos países lusófonos do mundo dos Backyardigans nos mostra uma mistura de batidas de funk 150, tarraxinha, house, kuduro e qualquer outro estilo que existe, porque no fundo isso aqui pode ser qualquer coisa. Certos sons me imaginam o que aconteceria se o Kim Quaresma fizesse musica no Blender e descobrisse que existe função de chord memory no mesmo. Tudo aqui é muito rápido, feliz e intenso, daquele jeito que todo mundo sabe que combinaria com o 40%. Seria um crime apontar o que são essas 6 musicas, pois eu nunca ouvi nada igual. Porque no final das contas, todo mundo sabe de tudo mas ninguém sabe o que é este disco. Apenas os Backyardigans e Hamtaros. SAIBA ISTO.
