Ho’oponopono is an ancient Huna practice from Hawaii. Its purpose is to erase negative energies and memories from the past and dissolve impediments to inner peace in the present. Ho’oponopono means to change a situation and make it better. As it is practiced, we have the intention of correcting past and present mistakes. This allows us to welcome peace and balance into our lives. In this simple practice we forgive, let go of guilt and move firmly toward the self-love that is essential in loving others.

Of course, the most effective practice for everything that troubles us –and that brings us to the peace in our hearts– is loving the Creator and feeling divine Love in our being. However, layers of dense energies, veils that block our internal vision, as well as lack of forgiveness, may make it difficult to feel the Creator’s presence in our hearts and surrender ourselves to our Source without reservations. It is also possible that although we may feel the Creator’s Love within us most of the time, challenging situations arise in our lives that tighten our hearts and obstruct our connection with the Beloved. In situations in which we need to return to that deep feeling of Love in our hearts and understand deeply that this is all we need, mantras can be very effective. Ho’oponopono is a beautiful mantra that helps us to cleanse and purify our being by dissolving the dense energies that dim our Light.

The Ho’oponopono mantra is very simple and different from Sanskrit mantras that need to be repeated in that language. It has the advantage that we can intone it in English or any other language with equally effective results. The words of the mantra contain a beautiful vibration that transcends the limitations of language. The words of the mantra are:

I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.

When you say, “I’m sorry,” you recognize that you have created the circumstances in which you find yourself and you assume responsibility for mistakes made, for your actions, thoughts, habits and intentions.

As you intone “Please forgive me,” you become aware of the internal burdens you carry and that you need to release. You realize that self-forgiveness is essential in overcoming feelings of guilt. Even when you need to forgive others, all forgiveness practice begins with forgiving yourself not only for errors committed, but also for not believing in your own divinity, for dimming your own Light.

When you repeat “Thank you,” you are grateful for the opportunity to purify dense energies, cleanse energies that you do not want in you. Gratitude is one of the most important factors in spiritual evolution and you feel gratitude not only for the positive things that come into your life, but also for the apparently negative ones that help you learn your lessons and evolve.

As you say, “I love you,” you recognize the divinity within you, the divinity that you are and love. As you love yourself, you love the Creator and everything and everyone in existence.

In the recording that you receive here, the words of the mantra: “I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you” have been radiated with the Light of Pure Love with the intention that the mantra help the listener to cleanse and purify their being and feel peace, joy and Love in their hearts. The vibration of the mantra dissolves all impediments to self-forgiveness and self-love and brings deep inner peace, as it has been encoded with the potent energies of Pure Love.
