Azadi Records is an independent record label based in India. Its CEO, Mo Joshi, heads the label, which seeks to provide a platform for South Asian artists to release forward-thinking, politically conscious music that critically engages with (and comments on) the pressing issues of our time.

Our aim is not to be underground but to highlight pertinent stories often ignored by the mainstream.

We are the label of the culturally conscious. We are the creators of stories. We are the explorers of new sounds, new visuals, and new mediums that initiate dialogue between different communities around the world.

Yet another guy named Adi.

Adi is a genre-bending open format DJ, in 2024 alone, he played professionally for over 100 days! He is best known for his DJ residency at Soho House Bombay. 

‘Another Adi’ seemed like a fitting alias for a DJ career in India because of how common his name is. The name brings a sense of familiarity and novelty simultaneously, like a new friend that you’re getting along with really well. 

He trained at the True School of Music and has been carving a space for himself in music and nightlife since 2017.
