Mit der EP “Stay” begeben sich 959er & Nomi Solo auf ein akustisches Abenteuer, inspiriert von World Music, Chill Out und Down Tempo. Das Ergebnis ist Dümpeltechno vom Feinsten! 

Der Opening-Track “Stay” wird von einem wabernden Synthie getragen, der mitreißt, ohne dick aufzutragen. Seine technoide Abstammung bemerkt man spätestens durch das Einsetzen der Kickdrum. In der Mitte des Tracks kommt Gänsehautstimmung auf, verursacht durch ein harmonisches Flöten-Thema und dem immer wiederkehrenden Vocal. Abgerundet wird das Stück mit fein eingesetzten Percussions und einem dezenten Summen.

“Am Morgen nach einer durchtanzten Nacht” ist der Auftakt zum zweiten Titel der EP. “Carong” lädt ein zu einer Reise, begleitet von einer klaren Orgel und deepem Synthie-Sound. Sie führt auf einem langen Bogen zum eigentlichen Thema, welches durch sein ausgewogenes Gitarrenspiel besticht. Der Einsatz von traditionellen Shakern und die eingängige Bassline machen den Sound rund und schaffen eine Atmosphäre, die “wieder, und immer wieder” zum Träumen verleitet.

“Listen” wählt eine schnellere Gangart, die das Stück absolut clubtauglich macht. Es schöpft Kraft aus der treibenden Bassline und dem orchestral anmutenden Synthie. Der rollende Charakter wird durch das Zusammenspiel gezielter Rhythmuselemente verstärkt. Nicht zuletzt die dynamischen Steeldrums verleihen dem Stück seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. 

“Jenny” ist das sphärische Schlusswort der EP. Durch das Wechselspiel der langgezogenen Keys und der Gitarrenriffs geraten, mit Hilfe von viel Delay, die Gedanken ins Schweifen. Wieder sind es die präzise inszenierten Percussions, die den Titel einmalig machen. Der Track kommt ohne richtige Bassline aus, das schafft Raum und durch den melancholischen Vocal wandern die Gedanken weiter und weiter.

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, and a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands. Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey. 
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori, two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

LOR brings together elements of techno, electronica and house to create his individual sound.

The Belfast producer announced his arrival late last year with remixes of classics by Arthur Russell and Kraftwerk, which were supported by the likes of Âme, Gerd Janson, Bicep, John Talabot and more.

As a DJ, LOR is rapidly on the rise, moving from Belfast Underground Radio, to various festivals this summer including AVA in Belfast, Celtronic in Derry and Tramlines in Sheffield.

On the production front, LOR’s first official remix, of Sau Poler’s ‘Esperits’ is due on leading Dutch label, Atomnation in September, of which we exclusively premiere.

Coupled with Ben Mautner's striking, golden artwork, Navid Mehr hit the Proton Music headlines in June 2016 with the epic "Solomon's Throne" EP. As we now return to visit the tech house title track, a Belarusian debutant and a Portuguese rising star turn in two majestic remixes.On the south-western tip of Belarus, Dmitry Molosh, has seen his stock rise significantly beyond the borders of his Brest hometown. An accomplished producer and DJ, gigs across Europe have cemented a strong reputation behind the decks as performances at "Mayday" festival in his homeland in 2012 have been consolidated with further gigs in London and Amsterdam Dance Event in autumn 2016. Molosh's monthly "Sound Wisdom" show on Proton Radio is another vehicle that demonstrates his astute track choices and mixing skills.A producer of world renown, a plethora of original and remix production material has hit the virtual shelves since a debut for You're So Fat Records, in the shape of "Ambo", made its mark in 2011. Since then, Dima's music has found its way on to such celebrated imprints as Balkan Connection, Plattenbank and Replug. Furthermore, a remix of Black 8's "Before the Rising Dawn" saw his name firmly in the spotlight on the Nick Warren led Hope Recordings, in June 2016. Supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Khen, amongst others, a pair of remixes for sister label Particles are now supplemented by a debut offering for Proton Music as Dmitry Molosh now takes on "Solomon's Throne". Retaining the essence of the original, a crisp rhythmic framework provides a strong foundation for a series of counterpoint melodies to criss-cross in shimmering fashion as a pounding beat and anchored bass line supply dance floor credentials. 
Redolent in delayed effects and pulsating white noise washes, Navid Mehr's work is given an innovative new direction.
Pedro Caldeira is a name that regularly features on the playlists of such distinguished names as Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Gareth Emery, after hitting the production trail in 2010 at the tender age of 17 with his Pete K soubriquet. Adjusting his developing sound to incorporate a more underground deep and tech house style, the Portuguese artist's cited influences include Ian O'Donovan, Sasha and Guy J.Thus, over a century of production credits can now be found next to the Pete K name as iconic imprints that include Intricate, Armada and Perfecto, showcase his work. Furthermore, an appearance on Ministry of Sound's legendary "Trance Nation" series "Mixed by Simon Patterson" was another career highlight in April 2015. Making his debut for Proton Music in June 2016 via the "Inner Circle" EP, the twin-track offering bore a direct connection to Caldeira's monthly "Inner Circles" Proton radio show. No returning to the label to remix Navid Mehr, the Pete K remix of "Solomon's Throne" is a typically strong offering that delights with its clever use of original components combined with trademark melodic flow. 
A wealth of additional production material creates an emotive work that evolves elegantly through its breakdown and beyond through the third movement, to create an exciting and effervescent work.A pair of regal remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Pete K have kept Navid Mehr on top of "Solomon's Throne".

Dmitry Molosh's productions have graced Hope Recordings and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank to name just a few, and supporters of his work include Max Graham, Matt Darey, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo amongst others.
He is frequently guest on the radio shows of largest Internet radio stations such as : Proton, Frisky and Pure.FM.

Here he makes a welcome debut with three fine cuts, Kicking off with 'Fly' a dreamy and beautiful affair, that oozes class from every pore. Beautiful pads with a dreamy edge glide gently over the bouncing bassline, creating a soundscape of happiness as we build effortlessly. Meandering gently across the wash of warmth, while packing serious punch on the dance floor.

Next up is 'Counteraction', a mood setting intense gem, with its big gnarly bassy melodic stabs, laced with tinkling tones that culminate in to a sonic interspersion of wonder. A punchy little number thats set to cause a fuss with many a DJ from across the musical genres of the underground scene.

Keeping the quality level set to maximum, we find 'Delirious'. The title sums the track up nicely, as it works you in to a frenzy. Subtleness is the key here as this gem unfurls it melodies, while packing a mean driving affair. Solid beats, phat stabs, the cool riff and understated fx and squelches glue this all together wonderfully to create a bit of a beast!

With a range of talents at his disposal, Diego Carr, has hit a rich vein of form within the underground dance community through his Hot TuneiK pseudonym, culminating now with the "Erase and Rewind" EP for Particles. Owner of the ever-growing Hookah Records, the Hot TuneiK production portfolio continues to impress with an expanding array of remix and production material for the likes of 76 Recordings, 3rd Avenue and Balkan Connection. 

A trio of remixes have hit the Particles catalogues, two alongside Belgian producer, Madloch, while "Through Other Dimensions", part of the "Spring Particles 2016" compilation, showcased the Mexican's original work. Now returning, "Erase and Rewind" is redolent in solid, chunky groove that rolls effortlessly in percussive cadence and off-beat hi-hats. A perfectly spaced bass pattern adds depth as a series of textured pads and melodies filter into aural view. Reaching a crescendo in a stripped back breakdown, a huge analogue bass riff carries the track into the third movement creating a colossal dance-floor destroyer that is sure to find favour across the globe.

UK based, Imran Khan, is 2016 newcomer to the underground dance music fraternity. Hitting the ground running at a considerable pace, a debut on Clinique Recordings with the three-track "Distance Between Us" EP, brought immediate success in November 2016, while further work for Astrowave, BQ Recordings and Stellar Fountain have continued to showcase Khan's talent, the latter accounting for the best-selling "Winter Sun" in April 2017. Now debuting on Particles, the Imran Khan remix takes "Erase and Rewind" on near ten-minute voyage of discovery. Utilising elements of Hot TuneiK's percussive section, the bass dominance of the original is intelligently reworked in rousing fashion. Accompanied by exquisite placement of the chord progressions so central to the original, the result is the creation of a sublime undulating rework full of poise.

The final remix comes from Colombians Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher. Sanclemente has leapt to prominence through a prolific and tireless production schedule that came of age after 2013's "Angels EP" for Suite 7 Records. Nearly a double century of production credits now sit proudly next to the Sanclemente name with Majestic Family, Stellar Fountain and Perspectives Digital among them. A 2016 newcomer to underground scene, Golan Zocher, has grown in reputation with a clutch of impressive releases for Crossfade Sounds, Balkan Connection and Forward Music throughout 2017. Understandably, Zocher's standing within the underground house scene continues to thrive. Following on from a remix of Dmitry Molosh for Clubsonica, Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher now make their debut on particles with a brooding, evolving remix that uses the rolling bass groove of the original and transforms it into a dynamic, hypnotic affair. Rising to an exciting crescendo with a distorted, stuttered and pitch bent riff, the third movement is welcomed in stunning fashion. Combined with Hot TuneiK's chord progressions, the resultant work is an impressive debut.

With Hot TuneiK on dynamic form, accompanied by mature remixes from Imran Khan, Kamilo Sanclemente and Golan Zocher, there is certainly no need to "Erase and Rewind".
