Progressive House

Kamilo Sanclemente is a Colombian producer with a rich musical heritage to his name. Now making his debut on Particles, Sanclemente provides rich entertainment with his original three-track, "Revelations".

From Cali, in the south west of the country, close to the Pacific coast, Sanclemente has built a strong and rapidly evolving reputation for himself. With close to a double century of Beatport production credits, the Colombian has thus found himself a regular on high-profile labels that include Einmusika, Baroque and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, since a debut for Suite 7 Records and the five-track September 2013, "Angels". Indeed, it was through the "Galathea" and "Arisen" tracks in 2015 that Kamilo saw his stock rise even higher for the Epsilon led label, with another appearance on the "MMW and WMC 2017 Sampler" with "The White City" in March 2107.

Supported by such icons of the underground dance arena as Hernan Cattaneo, Tim Penner and Danny Lloyd, Kamilo Sanclemente continues to impress with original and remix production material in the progressive and tech house genres. Now making his debut on Particles, the "Revelations" EP presents a musical triptych of the highest order.

Opening, with the title track, the dark brooding sounds of "Revelations" build effortlessly through sumptuous pads and eerie lead line that flows in liquid beauty. Through its elegant and evolving characteristic, a strong rhythmic foundation is laid with clicking percussive cadence, before a haunting vocal phrase permeates the upper frequencies, lending a richly textured layer to Sanclemente's work.

"Desolation" continues the Colombian's exacting attention to detail as a strong percussive groove provides a beats-laden backdrop. Building with consummate-ease, themes mirrored in "Revelations" are immediately evident as free-flowing middle-eastern melodies ease into the mid-range. Hitting its stride in the third movement, the rhythmic urgency, counterpoint motifs and reprised themes, showcase Sanclemente's skill and technique.

Fuelled by a driving, running bass line that supplies urgency and dynamism, "Another Earth" builds with gathering pace as strong beat and offbeat snare/clap combine with hi-hat pattern to create a robust backdrop. A filtered arpeggio enters the fray with rising chord progressions and epic snare fills, creating a storming floor-filler that thrills the senses. Sanclemente's technical knowledge of the dance arena is in full evidence through carefully placed use of rise and drop in an impressive club track.

The "Revelations" over Kamilo Sanclemente's talent are in little doubt in his three-track musical vignette.

One of Israel's most respected and hard working DJs and producers, Chico Shuella's dominance across his homeland has been matched on a global scale. Under his Chicola moniker, a production career that has spanned the finest international imprints, lead him to Proton Music where April 2014's debut "Maganda" EP illustrated a considerable array of talents. Returning to Proton once more, the twin-track EP now receives a pair of remixes full of Latin spirit.

Operating out of the Madrid capital, Spanish producer, Gonzalo Luque, has carved out a deep niche for himself under the Soulwerk production signature. A debut on Canadian imprint Whose Haus in 2011 paved the way for a successful assault on the Beatport charts as aural senses were caressed with a unique blend of melody and rhythm. A number one entry in the 'House' genre charts as well as a significant number two in the 'Overall' charts established a reputation that has grown significantly. The "Convergence" EP for Change Audio proved a huge success, as has work for Mirabilis, Lowbit and Cid Inc.'s Replug imprint. Indeed, the "Fraktals" EP for the latter went on to see support from some of the industry's leading tastemakers as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Muir and Eelke Kleijn all lent their weight to the project.

A remix of Dousk's smash hit, "Look Good Tonight" opened the Soulwerk account for Proton Music followed, in March 2014, by the debut "Searching For You Through The Stars" EP which saw the full extent of Soulwerk's craft and production skill. Returning to Proton to remix Chicola, Soulwerk's remix of "Ghost Train" retains many of the elements found in the original mix with a clever interpretive twist that provides a "Big Room" sound that rises and drops with flawless ease. Additional production elements create a melange of sound that glitters and ripples above a deep bass groove and strong house rhythm to create a trademark Soulwerk sound.

Ivan Jaime's Dark Soul Project is the product of a lifetime spent in the creative arts. A childhood spent drawing, painting and playing guitar and piano, saw art, design, paint and music envelope the young Argentinean. Forming the Dark Soul Project from his Buenos Aries home, "atmosphere is the stamp of the DSP sound", deep in feeling and the resonance that frequencies and waveforms have on the individual consciousness. Striving for "balance between people and music", the Dark Soul Project sound has led to over 150 production credits for such impressive imprints as Sudbeat, Baires and Stripped Recordings. Furthermore, the track "Al Sur" has recently featured on Nick Warren's groundbreaking "The Soundgarden" project, funded by fan-based pledge campaign.

Making a very welcome debut on Proton Music, the Dark Soul Project remix of the Chicola title track sees a deep, rich and groove-laden interpretation of "Maganda". Echoes of melodic themes present in the original make their presence felt as thickly textured percussive layers roll with ease across a soundscape of white noise effects and LFO filters. The DSP "Schualle Room Remix" is thus an excellent opening to an incipient Proton career.

Two new interpretations of Chicola's seminal work have given "Maganda" the chance to rise once more in the beautiful morning light.

SFR151: Spacebeat - Letter Of Fate
Spacebeat is a long time contributor of Stellar Fountain. Kirill always deliver the best possible dancefloor friendly material, shaped in his melodic, energetic style. This happens with his new stuff 'Letter Of Fate', which can be described as massive party smasher with a warm, soulful synth chord playing in the forefront of the production. 
On the B-side we can find Chaos Theory, which was originally released on 'One Way' EP in 2012, but now we have a new dub mix, which breathes fresh air into the track. 
The remixer's line up also looks impressive, just to mention the techno flava bad boys from Colombia - Cut Knob, Ukraine's finest Tech D and the Stellar wonderboy Fabrizio Spachuk from Argentina. 
Cut Knob shows us endless layers from techno heaven. The result seems to turn into a twisted march of coherent, lethal club beats spiced with a nasty baseline. 
Tech D and Fabrizio Spachuk kept the original's lively vibe and lifted it into atmospheric heights, infix the result into the progressive segment of house music.

Spacebeat - Letter Of Fate (Original Mix) [Stellar Fountain]

Another superb addition to the label is due to go out today, as we are to take you on another insane progressive journey today with the fantastic producer Shai T delivering the original this week! 

Being a stellar figure on the scene lately, with some solid music coming out week in and week out, the in fame rising producer and DJ showcase his rare talent through PHW Elements, with the new monster “A7”. With his deep and lush driving style of music making, he once more proves that he is here to stay. “A7” is a well written journey, that through deep and emotive structures keeps the momentum of the track going from start to finish.

On remix duty, we see another massive lineup coming along nicely with this Hungarian techno producer Roberto Traista making his debut on the label with a stunning piece of music. Chunky bass lines, together with all his trademark deep techno-ish elements makes this is an hypnotic and well driven production that we dare to say is one that will rock the floors. 

One of Finlands better names in the business, Tommi Oskari returns to us with another massive re-take. It is a true pleasure each and every time Tommi joins us, and here is the result to that feeling. With pounding depth and drive, he delivers another stunning remix that we are certain will make its place in many sets across the globe, the maestro is back.

To round things off, we see another entrance on PHW Elements from the Serbian producer Vlada D’Shake, a producer that you seen a lot of through our label, and many more times is to come. With his fresh, innovative and forward thinking style, he once more showcase what a great talent he is, with this clever number. With superb textures built up, added on vocal hooks and solid depth, he is once again a main figure on the scene and the label, it’s just to grab it, you’ll need it, that we assure you about.
