Always looking for new music to excite the senses, Particles has a strong reputation for seeking out new production partnerships. "Mirage" is no exception as the collaborative forces of Uvo and Chris Gavin meld Mexican and French talent.

Successful artists in their own rights, Uvo and Chris Gavin have impressed with a galaxy of production credits across a plethora of imprints. A regular on Balkan Connection, Movement Recordings and Sound Avenue, Kevin Rodriguez has carved out a sizeable niche for his Uvo production moniker. Similarly, a man of multiple talents, Chris Gavin, is an accomplished guitarist and high-profile label-manager. Moreover, a string of productions credits for Perspectives Digital, SexOnWax and Alola Records has seen his work supported by the DJ elite. Coming together to produce "Limerance" for D-Formation's T U S H imprint, the duo join forces once more as "Mirage" merges pounding beat and subterranean bass line with a delicious tom inspired, percussive groove. A swathe of ethereal, textured melodies float across the stereo spectrum, reaching their unencumbered zenith at the breakdown, before the second half surges forward once more with dynamic rhythm to the fore.

Best known for his iconic "Hugs and Kisses" in the mid-2000, German producer, Criss Source, has been at the vanguard of the dance industry for over two decades. A renowned DJ with a penchant for cross-genre, "deep and hypnotic" sets, Source's production career has seen him transfer success behind the decks into the production arena. A double century of credits has seen him feature on Parquet, BluFin and Sprout Music, while August 2017's remix of Solarc's "Wicked Game" for Balkan Connection, was another notable highlight. Taking on "Mirage", the Criss Source remix is founded upon a deep, rich groove that sees a pounding beat locked to a cavernous bass groove. A cinematic element is present through a dramatic motif that repeats throughout, while Uvo and Gavin's original components are used to strong effect and sinister edge as they pulsate in side-chained compressed glory over the eight-minute voyage.

A man of strong convictions and considerable talent, Israeli artist, Tim Aaron, was well-schooled by his parents as he spent his early years surrounded by their vinyl collection. As he later studied the art of music production, Aaron went beyond standard conventions to create cross-genre music that captured his sound via the unique sonic watermark that runs through his work. Making his debut in October 2015 with the "Supermode" EP for Breathtaking Sounds, Tim Aaron has gone on to feature on Bonzai Progressive 3xA Music and Clinique Recordings. With a career that continues to evolve, Aaron's "Mirage" sees a shuffling house rhythm backbone surrounded by an evolving musical landscape that combines elements of Uvo and Gavin's original. A wealth of additional production material in deliciously distorted motif that fizzles with reverb and delay, and white-noise washes that fly across the left-right spectrum, are anchored by a driving and hypnotic bass line. The resultant ten-minute piece is a work of genuine skill and craft.
