It really is an amazing moment to have one of our most respected artists for Flow Sessions, as it also reflects our focus expanding to other parts of the world and we are so happy to have the West Coast Vibes from the inimitable Sabo! Words from the artist: 
"This mix is very special to me and I’m really excited to share it. This was recorded in Bonjuk Bay, Turkey, back in September 2020 for the ICBKR event. It was my first time DJing to a live audience in over 8 months. The setting was perfect - a beautiful warm sunny day on a gorgeous beach in Southern Turkey, and while the sun began to set, a nice little crowd of happy dancing carefree souls gathered in front of me. It felt so good to take people on a musical ride again, and to feed off their energy. I was really feeling the vibes and went deep into my crates playing lots of feel good classics I hadn’t heard in years. At one point during the sunset I literally started to tear up, as I finally felt FREE again. This was hands down one of my favourite sets in all my 25 years of playing records. I hope you enjoy the story, and please remember, happiness and dancing is the best medicine for a healthy life. " -@djsabo

My dear friends

I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, and a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands. Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey. 
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori, two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

He was selected as one of Montreal’s Top Beat Masters in the “Hour Magazine” and won a JPF Award in 1999 for the best song on a mixed compilation. But these marks of recognition are pale compared to the actual experience of being on one of his dancefloors. His current residencies include B018 Beirut, Circus Montreal, Cubes Abu Dhabi and previously 5 years at Stereo, Montreal. He hosts the global editions of the Ready Mix Sessions events (Beirut, Miami, Montreal, Abu Dhabi) along with the internationally broadcasted radio shows and podcasts. He has played all over the world from L.A. to London, New York to Ibiza, Dubai to Miami, Beirut to Toronto and around. His vibe is diffused universally across barriers of language and cultures. After the great success of Fanaya Part 1 being played and supported by Sebastien Leger, Hernan Cattaneo, Megablast, Rodriguez Jr, David Mayer, + many more, we decide to make more remixes of this wonderful tune.

For this reason this unique vocal track had to be remixed by Robbie´s favorites producers: Zakir and Fulltone delivering this fire remix package of magical sounds and emotional elements.

Fulltone remix appears as more dark emotional affair featuring space synth sounds always with beautiful music influence as always Fulltone does. We love his music, always quality deep edge vibes.

Zakir remix blown us aways the first time we listen, it has a powerful groove with stunning percussion, acidic bassline, trippy melodic arpeggios and vocal glitches that create a funny jammin story between the vocal and the groove. All around a great interpretation very different form the original.
