Chris, 41, is a techno enthusiast and producer based in St Austell, Cornwall. Influenced by the likes of 
Dave the Drummer , Lorn, Rone, and Carl Cox, he tries to craft deep, hypnotic sounds  that blend dark atmospheres with driving energy. Passionate about pushing sonic boundaries, he is dedicated to creating immersive electronic soundscapes that resonate on and off the dance floor. He also has a healthy appreciation for deep tech, incorporating its groovy, minimalistic elements into his productions.

His passion for electronic music was shaped by early influences like Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Vangelis. The rise of synth-pop and new wave in the ’80s—featuring Depeche Mode, New Order, The Human League, and OMD—deepened his appreciation for synth-driven soundscapes. By the ’90s, the energy of The Prodigy, Underworld, and The Chemical Brothers, along with the experimental sounds of Aphex Twin, Orbital, Boards of Canada, and The KLF, broadened his sonic palette. Over time, this passion evolved into a deep interest in hard techno, particularly the raw, driving sound of the underground scene.

Chris also produces music under the moniker Den_Ver (But not so often as the melodic bear is almost always in hibernation... lazy sod!

Pascals love to electronic music started already in the childhood with some older vinyl from his parents (early Electronic Music/Disco/Funk).

When he first heard trance aswell techno in younger years at a funfair, he then got attached to Electronic Dance Music.

He learned a bit the piano in his childhood and started to produce music with his computer at the age of 15.

With 16 he started learning how to dj with vinyl, organising partys quite often with a couple friends in his hometown at the lake/silvester/birthday partys. Aswell he was able to play a couple times at the local funfair partys aswell in the neighbour city in an eventhall.
In the beginning of his twenties he got in and around Zürich at different locations (Clubs/Openairs).

His sounds which he plays are mostly different from what he produces (House, Deep-House, Tech-House, Techno).
Music Production is more of a meditation to him.

Alex Hertel, now also known under his alias Lexano, is a versatile DJ from Germany whose journey spans from melodic soundscapes to the raw intensity of underground techno. Starting out as Alex Hertel, he made a name for himself in the vibrant electronic scene around Mannheim, delivering hypnotic, driving, and melodic sets that captivated dancefloors in some of the region’s most iconic clubs and festivals.

Today, Alex continues to perform under both monikers. While Alex Hertel remains true to his roots in Melodic Techno and Melodic House, Lexano dives deep into the realms of Hardgroove, Hardtechno, and Hardtrance — bringing relentless energy and a darker, more intense vibe to his performances.

He’s a resident DJ at renowned event series such as Stromverschwendung, Format, and Release², and has played at respected venues and festivals.

One of his standout moments was the release of his remix of Hans Zimmer’s Time, which gained him widespread attention and significantly expanded his reach.

With original productions set to be released soon, Alex Hertel / Lexano is continuing to evolve, pushing boundaries and shaping the future of his unique sound — one powerful set at a time.
