As Dolly Records marks its 15th anniversary, the label celebrates with a powerful new various artists release that distills its core values: timeless quality, emotional depth, and a dedication to house, techno and beyond that moves both body and soul. Carefully assembled by label head Steffi with the same precision of her DJ sets, the compilation brings together a diverse lineup including both longtime allies and fresh additions to the Dolly family. Fifteen years in, Dolly continues to evolve without compromise. This release is both a reflection and a statement of intent. Here’s to many more!

4. Böhm - Exploration

Raucous rumblings and club centered grooves are the name of the proverbial game today as we premiere the latest from English imprint, Crescent London. The four tracker adeptly displays a wide array of auditory scope from a duo known as Abstract man. Ranging from the half-time thematic opening through to a thumping finish, it’s a well rounded release that works in many situations.

Flux, the title track of the release, brings the energy up a notch with steady percussion and bouncing saw-like synths that seem to shift and move through the beginning of the tune. Progressing on, a dark growl starts to emerge providing an aggressive edge that persists and compliments an atonal siren element.

Flux and the rest of Abstract Man’s release will be released on August 1st.

Ken-Ming, also known as Daniël is an artist with roots in both the Amsterdam and Hong Kong scene. This artist delves deep in to niche electronic sounds, while staying true to techno. Effortlessly shifting between styles like electro, breakbeat and drum & bass. His sound is energetic, dynamic and constantly evolving; a musical journey filled with unexpected twists.

Ken-Ming’s love for music began with a diverse musical upbringing, exposing him to a wide range of music from a young age. This versatility is reflected in his sets. No predictable build-ups, just an organic flow where everything comes together and every track tells a new story.

Fresh techno from the Lowlands by two veterans of the Utrecht scene. Quince made his debut 20 years ago on the renowned Delsin label, while Sayne is the latest alias of DJ, producer and label owner Nuno Dos Santos.

All three tracks are built around a single initial idea. Both producers expanded the idea independently, before coming together to forge the final result. The title track Orange has a nice Detroit vibe with its shuffle rhythms and bouncing rimshots, while Klonneplein 1 (an Amsterdam square all too familiar to visitors of a populair techno party) navigates the wobbly bridge between Sterac and Andy Stott. The closing track Work is one for sweaty basements, where bass lines tug viciously at your trouser legs. Raw, distorted jakbeat in a frayed techno jacket.

If you like to lose yourself, this sixth EP on the NOWHERE label is a good place to start.

CYRK is the four hands live show / studio project of the two Berlin based producers Sierra Sam and Pascal Hetzel . They both been playing all around the planet as live act and deejay and decided it was time to spend some time in the studio . The influences are mainly Detroit house and techno with a little bit of electro .

Hardware Love Pascal Hetzel from Berlin contributes the Voxnox Trips 006. Pascal's sound combines dark strains of industrial-tinged techno with an old school sensibility, one that incorporated heavy drones, classic electro and the odd breakbeat. All well-worn tropes within electronic music, but Hetzel found a way to make them his own and to come up with his own interpretation of those classic sounds. The harder, more driving techno and electro variations are reserved for releases under his own name on labels like Caduceus Records, Expansion Unit, Constant Variables, the label he co-runs, or, on Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions sub-label Eye Teeth.  He's one of the international residents at Dubai's famed club Analog Room and is slowly but surely racking up air miles for his live and dj-sets.

Pascal Hetzel has been a steady presence in Berlin's large electronic music community. He emerged with a strong focus on long, free-flowing hardware jam sessions that traverse the whole spectrum of electronic dance music, from dark, industrial-tinged techno to classic Motor City electro and Italo disco-appreciating euphoria. In addition to his work as one half of CYRK, Pascal Hetzel continues to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sound is
deeply influenced by Detroit techno's rich legacy. His first release on Juan Atkins' groundbreaking Metroplex label,
which came out in June 2025, marks another milestone in his career. It's his first solo release since his EP on
another Detroit-based label: Interdimensional Transmissions' sub-label Eye Teeth, and his solo album on
the Belgian label Arkham Audio. Early next year, he will also release an EP on Marco Bailey's label Materia, further expanding his footprint in the global techno landscape. Rest assured, there is more to come — both with CYRK
and as a solo artist.
