The Beatles、The Rolling Stones、The Who、The Kinksなど、60年代には素晴らしい音楽が溢れています。そのどれもが「生きた音楽」であり、強烈なグルーヴには少々のことは問題としない荒削りな魅力があります。
なにより素晴らしいのは「音から空気を感じる」こと。僕らもそんな音楽をやりたい。60'sのアナログサウンドに魅せられたバンド、それが8tracksです。

僕らの好きなアナログサウンドは、今や珍しい存在になっています。だからこそという思いと、強いこだわりを持って僕らは取り組みます。8tracksのレコーディングは、すべて8トラックのカセットテープMTRを使用しています。
演奏時の空気を録音するために、バンド演奏は基本的に一発録りをします。そこにボーカルなどのオーバーダビングを重ねていく、「昔ながらの製法」で音源を制作しています。音楽の持つ空気を、僕らはカセットテープに詰め込みます。
