If you have been at the Junkyard stage this shouldn't need any description but if you haven't I will try to explain it a little bit. 

Every year I have been so lucky to be able to play with friends and have a good time playing music, at what I consider, my home festival. We have been doing the Junkyard stage formerly known as Favela for a while and it has always been a labor of love that has brought tears of happiness, one way or another, every single time. 

This last year I got to play with 2 of my favorite friends/artists Marques Wyatt, and Monolink. We closed Saturday night from 1 AM to 4 AM and here is the testament of what transpired musically that night!  We had so much fun!  I hope you enjoy it!

It has been quite some time since the last time we gathered for a night of MBTS. I wanted to take some time after the pandemic to be quiet and see how the dance music scene would evolve, and what sounds would come out of the standstill that was Covid. Now that I have a good sense of where I want to be sonically, and what kind of energy I want to spread onto dance floors, I am ready to restart MBTS in 2023. M.B.T.S. (Most Below The Surface) 2023

Celebrating 19 years of Pink Mammoth on Saturday was completely surreal and to think this year will be our 20th as a camp at Burning Man is mind blowing 🤯 — what a beautiful journey. The night was made extra special by having some of the original PM family, that is spread across the country, physically there with us in San Francisco. 

And to add the cherry on top 🍒, Tara Brooks being back on the decks with us was a treat in and of itself. Truly a magnificent family reunion in every sense and I am excited to continue the festivities in New York with Tim Green and Alice Iguchi on Mar 18. Until then... I give you this mix and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Pink Mammoth 19 Year Anniversary - San Francisco 2023

Lightning in a Bottle remains to be one of my favorite festivals in the world.  So... it is with great pleasure I get to share my set from last year's unforgettable experience on the Woogie Stage.  Many had inquired whether it was recorded or not.  So... here it is in it's entirety.  Enjoy and maybe we'll have another dance together at this year's LIB! <3

LIB Woogie Stage 2022

This was my fourth time playing Coachella. 

A few weeks before the festival I was on the phone with my Mom and I specifically told her that I am taking nothing for granted and pouring everything I have into this set. 

I worked my ass off on this. 

I think it really captures where I am in my musical journey. 

I am proud of it and I think it is one of my best sets to date.

Thanks again to the DoLaB and I am super looking forward to being with everyone again at LiB!

Henry Pope at the Do LaB Stage 2023

As a DJ it's important to play the shows that connect you, with your audience.  The people that fuck with your style.  While I was in LA, helping out with underground events I met people who run shows and saw the back end of production first hand.  Joined a BM camp I wanted to play at.  And with Dolab I did the same.  Volunteered a few times and worked on the door team at coachella.  Im not a great technical producer yet so this was a realistic approach.  After showing up enough The Grand Artique (Ian) gave me a slot.  FF>> to LIB 2023. So... I knew there was a 1 hour gap 9 - 10:15PM.  I got there at 8:40.  I was the first DJ so the gear was all packed up in boxes.  "remember your training grasshopper" I carried the CDJs over to the stage and the sound tech helped me with the stand.  Friends I had texted started showing up and my parents walked into the back of the room. STEPHEN LEWIS' BIG FUN DUO was ending with a 10 min guitar solo... Now we here!  Thank you Lightning In A Bottle for the beautiful memories.  See you again soon!

I met the Groovewell boys 10 years ago through, you guessed it, the club. We became fast friends, myself just starting out as a young dj coming up through a sober 6am party called Morning Gloryville. Jake, Chris, Victor and Angel were loyal attendees as we discovered both ourselves and San Francisco, figuring out where we belonged so to speak. Soon enough we started playing parties together and lifting each other up wherever we could. I always exclaimed my proud mamma status as they gained popularity and their sound evolved. 

Skip forward to June 17th where I was featured in their limited block at their own party baby, Kamp Around and Find Out, where I found myself only wanting to make THEM proud and not the other way around.

Love you boys, and love you Never Sleep Again. I certainly kamped around and found out but hope I made you proud.
