BIOGRAPHY

Two creative minds united in one thing - finding the perfect groove. This is the best way to describe the duo ordinary subject aka Christian and Alexander. When their paths crossed in 2010, it quickly became clear that this combination had potential. This proved to be true in numerous gigs in Germany and across Europe as well as countless studio sessions. 

This many years of experience in playing at various clubs and festivals results in a fine feeling for the dance floor. Their current sets are characterized by concise baseline grooves and percussive elements. Which over the years has also become their signature sound. 

To express their own vision of deep and groovy music, they founded the label REDUCED records in 2103. REDUCED records is not only platform for Ordinary Subject to release their own music, it’s also a creative space for like - minded artist. 

Over the years they released on labels like: Defected, MBF, Yoruba Grooves, Bondage Music, Baile Musik, Krad records, Frieda Musik and numerous others.

Ralph Valenteano’s Projekt VALENTEANO steht für Eigenständigkeit, innovatives Songwriting und überdurchschnittlich künstlerische Qualität. Das zentrale Thema seiner Arbeit ist die Liebe in ihrer mystischen Form. 
VALENTEANO macht Musik für das neue Zeitalter: Seine Musik und Texte zeigen den Weg nach Innen und regen dazu an sich selbst zu erkennen und an die eigene Einzigartigkeit zu glauben. Eine ganzheitliche Sicht auf die Welt und eine von von sufischer Literatur geprägter Mystik vereinen Ost und West in seinen Werken zu einer prächtigen Bilderwelt.

Steven E. Müller is a composer and performance artist, who lives in Berlin. Since 2014, he studies Jazz / Pop Piano and composition at the Universität of Arts Berlin.
 
In 2016, he studied composition at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, where he specifically focused on New Music and  Electroacoustic Music.

He currently works as a composer and sound designer for film and occasionally plays concerts for piano and violin.

Steven E. Müller is a pianist & composer, who currently lives in Berlin.
His music is inspired by travelling, people, emotions and much more.
