Producer, DJ, promoter, and @soundsofvala label head, @soundsofkaspiann's work straddles a range of paces and moods, always with an eye toward the innovative. With a lower-tempo release due early next year on an undisclosed label, Kaspiann's more recent sonic explorations wade into swampy techno with psychedelic inflections.

In Patterns of Perception 117, Kaspiann pulls you into the flow through these murky sounds that dips and stomps along, with a selection of unreleased tracks from both his and his friends' studios, along with a handful of carefully unearthed gems.

Patterns of Perception 117 - Kaspiann

Mexican-Jamaican dj/producer Andy Martin blends sci-fi techno with Latin Caribbean sounds creating a futuristic edge. His latest album, Antiguos Astronautas, is a musical exploration that merges techno with Native American futurism and has received a positive response from the music community.

This summer he will be performing at renowned European festivals and clubs in Croatia, Spain, France and Germany. 

This set has a deep, dubby, and trippy vibe, with a lot of atmospheric pads mixed with hypnotic rhythms and elements that resemble organic percussion.

Berlin’s Refracted has been a name dear to us for some time, having contributed a remix to our inaugural label release nearly six years ago. The Paral·lel co-curator and resident has cultivated a devoted following over the years for his uncompromising vision developed through a remarkable catalog of releases for label such as Silent Season, Bitta, Sublunar and his own Mind Express. For our series Refracted contributes a mix true to his signature style, crystalline and patiently layered with unwavering intent, drawing across decades and genres to invite us into a divine state of mind. Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno, as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through all of these genres and more, as she guides dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising. 
Based in London, a notable UK-flair for genre-fluidity and diagonal rhythms can be found within her psychedelic techno excursions. Sybil’s DJing has taken her across revered events and venues on the global stage including: Dekmantel, Waking Life, Paral·lel, Positive Education, De School, Berlin Atonal, WHOLE, Dimensions, La Nature, Mo:Dem, Harmony, Nowadays (New York), Transcendance (Japan), Miscellania (Melbourne) and ZVUK (Kazakhstan).
Whilst Sybil’s club sets are often geared for energetic dance floor exhilaration, her numerous mixes are notable for their highly visual narrative arcs. Subtly accelerating and decelerating between disparate BPMs, she stitches together music from a broad palette of textures, contrasting new finds with long forgotten gems to create memorable journeys which are both rewarding and entrancing. There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.

MNMT Recordings : ABSIS @ Mostra closing 2025 - Barcelona

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. Next up in our mix series is Rotterdam-based producer, DJ and On Board Music founder Laura BCR - a vital presence both behind the decks and behind the scenes of contemporary electronic music. A former record store co-owner (Bass Cadet Records), booking agent, and head of the On Board agency and label, Laura’s dedication runs deep.

In this mix, Laura invites us into her more contemplative soundscapes, guiding us through a true evolving trip of shimmering synths and sun-kissed rhythms. It's deliberate and elegant - a lesson in patience and depth. As deep and mysterious, as it is warm and gracious. The perfect companion to stretched-out summer days, glowing nights or for inner voyages and golden hour reflections alike.
