Jamie founded Silent Season after moving to the remote woodlands of British Columbia in the mid-2000s. In this third edition of our ‘Who’s You’ podcast, Yuka discusses her approach:

“As a DJ I listen a lot of new and old music. Usually I sort my collection by stories in folders. some folders I use for dance floors and others for podcasts. This mix is one of those folders. Rhis is my favourite one and of course i choose it to introduce myself. This music has a depth, interesting rhythms and psychedelic sounds - that’s what I love in techno music! There are shamanic drums, velvet basslines and magic. This inspires me, makes me loose the ego and become the music. This is the mystic story from beginning till end.”
