Patterns of Perception resident @andreasmaan has been injecting a unique sense of drive and intensity into Patterns of Perception’s dance floors since the club night began almost two years ago.

Alongside his dance-floor oriented material, however, he has long cultivated a wide collection of arrhythmic recordings, ranging across a diverse spectrum of genres, from ambient, minimalist and musique concrete, to medieval chant.

In Patterns of Perception 29, Andreas Maan brings some of these aspects of his sound palate to the fore, weaving a path through the sparse textures and rich atmospherics that these disparate musical elements have to offer.
