Hence to say all the material inside is his own work. I've always had a deep respect for Tom, as a musician, as a producer, as a person, his entire family are also fkn legends. @johnosborn moved to Berlin in the late 1990’s, in the aftermath of the fall of the wall, when the city was heaving with electronic music and full of empty spaces in which creativity could thrive. From his first gig at WMF, on the bill alongside @dixon and @mitja-prinz, to his residency at Panorama Bar for @scubaofficial’s famed SUB:STANCE parties, he quickly became a regular fixture in the local electronic music scene – and has remained there since. 
As the head of DRED (and formerly of TANSTAAFL RECORDS), John has found space to express his creativity away from the dancefloor, both as a producer/remixer and as a selector and champion of emerging and established artists.

This adroit, blistering mix is a live recording of his sunrise set from Patterns of Perception’s Two Years party at @about-blank-berlin on 5-6 May, 2018.

"I`m parent, husband, scientist, chancer, dancer, record collector, music lover and part-time hedonist. I fell in love with bass, hats, smoke and strobes 33 years ago and i still seek out those moments to escape from the constraints of a regular existence….isn’t that the principle aim of club culture and electronic music?  Curating @verdant-recordings, and more recently Vertex with Jamie,  are my platforms to support the music of talented friends and producers alongside my own vinyl mixes;  sharing my love of deep and melodic music in all its guises.
