Laura MRLS is known to experiment with a variety of different genres and has developed her own avant-garde style in the electronic music scene. Since the beginning, the Helsinki- & Berlin-based artist has been focusing on dark sound valleys that nowadays reach as well into cinematic, distorted and modern classical music. 

The resident artist of the well known Techno platform Monument is also co-founder of the experimental event and podcast series SYNAĒ and hosts a monthly radio show, called cloud9, on IDA Radio. 

With this podcast, Laura MRLS explores a cinematic dream soundscape while floating between hopefulness and dark melancholy, including original soundtracks of the series Twin Peaks by David Lynch.

Basel-based Agonis (@agonis-amenthia) runs @amenthia-recordings alongside label partner @garcon. Fusing depth, rhythm, and echoes of Detroit, his DJ and live sets alike are captivating, at once both subtle and forward.

Following his transcendent live performance at Patterns of Perception earlier in the year, Agonis has taken his vision to audiences around the world, performing at key festivals and parties in Australia, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Switzerland where he is a resident of the famed Elysia (@elysiabsl) club. 
On the production front, he has been similarly prolific, helping to inaugurate @smokemachinetaipei ’s record label with the contribution of two tracks to its debut EP, plus overseeing the release of Amenthia's sixth EP - a debut from fellow Basler, and one-third of @varuna4053, Tafeit.

In Patterns of Perception 37, Agonis delivers a discerning selection designed to be equally enjoyed at home or on the dancefloor, constructed around the concept of bending time.

Imagine yourself floating through space.  No, not the aliens-chasing-you-and-blowing-stuff-up kind of space.  Just regular space, please.  With distant stars glittering in the distance, the stillness of it and the quiet.  Maybe a satellite floating by peacefully.  Got the picture? Well, Josef Gaard has written a soundtrack to it.  Mysrit is one floating through space…no imminent danger of any kind, no spiritual journeys, no divine discoveries, just floating.  Sounds pass you by like window scenery from a moving train: closely but never touching.  It's peaceful and cold: kinda what I'd imagine space to be like.

'Leave no one behind part3' is coming out via Valian Kollektiv on April 5th and all money made from this release will directly be donated to the NGO “Mission Lifeline“ which rescues refugees in the ocean around the European borders. More info about it on the Valian Kollektiv's bandcamp page:
