As an artist, @gigi-fm ’s energy and vision is unmistakeable. Known for truly wide-ranging and eclectic selections, and her electric presence in the booth - her sets feel unpredictable, warm and inviting all at once. Underpinned by psychedelic, transcendent atmospheres and rhythms, her sounds expand organically in all directions, with shades of techno, electro, breaks, house, IDM, ambient and more used in vivid, kaleidoscopic and unexpected combinations.

Recorded live at our party from this past summer, GiGi’s Patterns of Perception 89 perfectly embodies her indelible energy. As a closing set, this was a blistering performance that left the audience totally transfixed over the course of two and half blissful hours. Capturing spontaneity, improvisation, diversity and vibrancy, this set had a profound, lasting impact on all those present, and we’re pleased to be able to share this recording.

The recording from one of my favourite sets last year ~ Transcendence Festival in Japan 🌲🇯🇵

I’ve long been drawn to the deep, organic and electrifying techno of Japan–inextricably linked to open-air gatherings deep in the forest–so it was very special to play this set in the mystical woods of Nagano’s mountains.

I played after Japanese wizard OCCA @oooccaaa, from 11.30PM-2AM ~ descending into the night and far beyond ✧.*｡⋆

There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together.

The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground.

This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. From solo artists to close friends, now creating something special together.

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass.
