Maher Daniel has been gaining substantial recognition in the past few years in the techno and house scene.

The San Francisco born DJ and Producer's career career really started to propel when he secured his residency at Montreal at the Stereo Nightclub, opening for some of the most recognized artists including Sasha, Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Since then, and with a move to rapidly ascending dance music center Barcelona in the mix, Maher has released on a who's who of the world best labels, starting with Bedrock and Rejected, moving on to All Day I Dream, Get Physical, Leftroom, My Favorite Robot, and Souvenir, and now gaining significant traction on No. 19 Music.

Needless to say, Maher has also graced the decks of some of the world's finest clubs, venues, and festivals, including Watergate (Berlin), Treehouse (Miami), Creamfields, ADE, Fabric (London), Spybar (Chicago), and the list goes on.

Today, we are proud to present this talented DJs take on deep dub and melodic techno house with the latest instalment in our podcast series. Er ist ein viel gebuchter, leidenschaftlicher DJ, der genau weiß, wie man den Dancefloor zum kochen bringt. Seine Musik ist irgendwo zwischen technoiden Klängen und fidelem House einzuordnen. Salzburg's @demuja has been building up a serious head of steam of late, with releases like 'Move' on Freerange doing serious business alongside bits on Let's Play House, Skylax and his own MUJA imprint. His first EP for Kerri Chandler's @madhouse-records finds him in typically tuneful form, with this title track a driving ride through backwards synth chords, rubbery bass and classic house strings.

Brasilian DJ and producer Rafael Cancian delivers a veritable United Nations of diverse international disco flavor for his first outing on Razor-N-Tape. The A side delivers cheeky horns and gyrating synths with Ç'est La Douceur, followed by a flurry of string stabs and vocal fourishes with theI Italo-tinged Fascino Di Milano. 

On the flip we get a taste of Rafa’s native Brasilian boogie with the stomping Frágil, and the EP winds down with the sensual slow groover Besos Libres. This is a 4-tracker of serious heat representing all four romance languages…perfect for romancing, and dancing!

The Kapote album is out for a couple of months and rarely you could see so much euphoric feedback on Toy Tonics releases. 

From Black Madonna to DJ Artwork, DJ Harvey to Detroit Swindle, Gerd Janson, Busy P to Moodyman and Honey Dijon. The tracks are getting played everywhere. 

So it makes sense to come up with some reworks of the album tracks.

On the 2nd remix EP, Sworn Virgins from DeeWee, Art of Tones and Rahaan made new versions.. and as the “Delirio Italiano” track is getting so much love Kapote made an alternative version. 

But here is a taste of Art of Tones' stellar revision.
