Written under a cloud of deep depression and violent flashbacks from my earlier life in a brutal children's home here in Aberdeen Scotland ...  as a christian dude in my adult years I still remember the punches, rods and kicks but now I am no longer utterly powerless - I am at last able to get the help for that wee one I left there long ago ... Jesus my glorious rescuer, sword in hand - has found me at last..

I've been having a go at writing modern hymns, songs and putting new music to the Psalms for a few years now - in a broad range of styles: from folk to electronic, in venues ranging from nightclubs to church buildings and outdoor festivals, writing for bands, solo and even the odd choir.   Presently working on 22 separate pieces of music for Psalm 119 - 1 - word for word and from orig. hebrew.
