Im Mike McGettigan (aka DJ High IQ : Is a Cercle affiliated Philadelphia based Tech House DJ / Producer ...My sound is a very Housey Tech House , blended with  a little bit of anything good ... I grew up on the outskirts of Philly and was lucky enough to experience the underground at the beginning, the Old School way way back Philly.. When Cercle was Special K productions ..and the underground  was brand new. From the very late 80s,  through the 90s it was an amazing time...FFW  to now
   I spin a gritty gritty TechHouse on 4  decks  (tech 12s) ,  but recently started using  Pioneer SX3 ( because fuck carrying  4 tech 12s around) and  I have to admit  it's a lot  less stressful .. and I admit I like it......So to  anyone who checked my sound out... I really appreciate you .. thank you very much  ..., and to all the artists who create the tracks I use... thank you without you guys .... forget about it  ..and to the people who book talent I am quite available ...so definitely  absolutely  hit me up... please  lol..

I'm a DJ / Turntablist / Producer in San Francisco by way of Philly, VT and Seoul. My first love was Hip-Hop (boom-bap). Then I was introduced to the world of turntablism and was fortunate to train with DJ Ghetto. Later, I was a member of Hard To Swallow records (Frankie Bones, Circuit Breaker, Xonel Smart, Hectic, and Dominator) so the crew educated me on Techno, Breakbeats and electronica. As a result, my style is a culmination of those genres.
