This song was written after feeling scared about the future, lack of money, getting older, my parents getting older & feeling lonely in a new country. I didn't want to be aware of bad things anymore, about climate change and wars, paying bills,  dying, etc. I wanted to feel like a little kid again, finding joy in everything, not knowing what the real world was like.

"Pure Cotton Ghosts" is an experimental rock-jazz fusion that pays homage to outsider music.
