Can I ask you to ask me
If I'm OK?
Is it weird if i don't listen to that question anyway?

Is it silly to live life with a raised chin
While my body is covered with more scar tissue than skin?

Here i stand again on a sky scraping roof
Life doesn't take me serious, it mimics my every move

These dark thoughts bring light to my soul\these bright spirits may help to break my fall

While life is given, death takes it back for a price i can't refuse
My time isn't worth living when there's no gain or height to loseReflecting on this person in front of me
makes me wonder if there's more beyond this glass to see
IIs it okay if I walk out early?
Pretending i'm fine has taken a deadly toll on me

Never felt so alive on the edge of living
Death is the final chapter of this unfinished book i live in

Each side had been pleading its case
But the Lie had convinced them
And no-one would listen

The Lie had arrived by Ferrari

So the Lie had the show
Wrapped up with a bow
When the Truth wandered into the party
