Hi and welcome to Explorations. I'm starting this monthly show to explore different labels and producers.

We start with Bedrock Records as its been on every device I use , either at work or just for fun , or any sets I make , Bedrock Records seems to be the label that the producers I really enjoy are with.
Bedrock Records is an English record label for trance, progressive house and techno started by John Digweed. Its name comes from a long running and successful club night held in Hastings and also at Heaven nightclub, London – both also called Bedrock.

Every month I will cover one Label or Producer and make a set with their music.

For reference this time around I used Bedrock Futuro Remixes to create this Set.

Explorations - Episode #001 - Bedrock Records

Peak Time/Melodic Techno & Progressive House/Trance  DJ from South Africa
With a deep appreciation for the pioneers of electronic music, Deepsoulelectric's love for electronic music was ignited in the early 90’s. Drawing inspiration from esteemed labels such as Harthouse and Eye Q, along with iconic artists like Sven Vath and Carl Cox, profoundly influenced his artistic growth and musical evolution.
His DJ sets are a masterful blend of carefully selected tracks that transport listeners to new emotional landscapes. From soaring deep melodies to driving energetic beats, his selections are expertly woven together to create a cohesive and unforgettable experience that tells a story through sound.
His journey into electronic music began with discovering Reactivate 9 & 10 cassette tapes, igniting a passion for synthesizer music, despite challenges in accessing quality electronic music while living in South Africa, and starting with a basic mixer featuring only two sliders.

Techno producer with a passion for deep beats and hypnotic rhythms. Crafting soundscapes that take you on a journey through the underground. Tune in, feel the pulse.

Claudio Malz is an up-and-coming DJ and music producer 
Claudio’s journey into the world of electronic music began in his early years. Born and raised in Argentina, Claudio was exposed to music from a young age. With a natural ear for rhythm and melody, he gravitated towards electronic music during his teenage years, particularly the sounds of house and techno that were shaping the global dance music scene.

Inspired by the groove-driven sounds of tech house and deep house, Claudio began experimenting with production software, learning the intricacies of music production and sound design. His passion for dance music and the energy of the club scene led him to develop a sound that would eventually become synonymous with his name: deep, infectious grooves, and punchy basslines paired with catchy vocal chops and dark, minimalistic elements.
