BIOGRAPHY:
Małpka was born and raised in Africa and classically trained at the age of 7. She left her home in Zimbabwe in 2000 to explore other arenas.  Time spent in Australia and South Africa led to an evolution in her appreciation of big band jazz and bouncing brass to crazy psychedelic trance and dusty stomping grounds.
Her love for the emerging electronic genres saw her moving to the UK in 2006 for a more complete musical immersion. After reaching saturation point on almost every dance floor imaginable, and it didn't take long; 'Mudstompin Munkee' was born, which would later evolve to the alias Małpka.

Guest appearances on radio and DJ performances in London took off instantly, creating huge success opportunities for this DJ and upcoming Producer; slamming sets from the right side of the decks, now hosting her own radio show on Bassport FM - The Mudstompin Menagerie - and performing at events and festivals across the UK and Europe.

With an ear for filthy frequencies, funky melodies and banging bass lines, Małpka remains undefined by genre, concerned only with one factor, the Stomp; and the pulse of the crowd.  Her natural flair for diversity certainly sets her apart from the other wild animals in the zoo.  Expect anything in the mix from Downtempo to Full on, Glitch Hop to Ghetto Funk, Psytrance to Drum n Bass, Afro House to Electro Swing.

Anto's Mars is a DJ and music producer from 
Tel-Aviv, Israel, With 10 years behind the decks and 7 years in the studio. 
From the beginning of 2024, Anto's Mars shifted to the Afro House genre, with a new alias called "Africandose" signing his music on labels from Ibiza, Miami,  Stuttgart, Mozambique and more...
His Afro House music built on driving tribal percussion, warm basslines, layered synths, and rich vocal chops. 
The productions are a blend of organic drums, African-inspired rhythms, deep atmospheric pads, and textured shakers, all tied together with a hypnotic groove that defines his signature style.
Anto's Mars also curates a weekly mix series on SoundCloud called "Afro House Pleasures", spotlighting the freshest Afro House tracks from around the world.

Be Awesome is a social movement devoted to promoting activities that empower individuals with the freedom to stop, choose and act with integrity.

We have a dream to empower a new generation to embody the awareness of their inner power, through a transformational festival program called the Be Awesome Festival. Right now all of our energy is going into creating the first Be Awesome Festival pilot, taking place in Brisbane, Australia on Saturday 23 May 2015. Be Awesome began as a personal challenge in January 2013 by founder Christian Duell to blog once a week, sharing the learnings that come through powerful life experiences. From humble beginnings, during 2013 the project quickly grew to incorporate weekly podcasts, inspirational memes featured on Facebook and Instagram and two additional features; Random Acts of Awesome and Who’s Awesome? All of this great content is still available in our Archives section of beawesome.org.au, but for now we’re mostly excited about creating the Be Awesome Festival!

Vicky Devine was one of the first female trance DJs to break out of the UK. Taking herself to Ibiza in 2000, she went forward to create a successful career which included becoming the main room resident at Judge Jules's infamous Judgement Sundays events where she remained for over ten years. Touring the world several times over and releasing music on high profile labels including Spinnin, Black Hole and Recoverworld, she launched her own record label (DE:VA Recordings), presented her "DE:VA" Radio Show for many years on Afterhours FM, was integral in launching, supporting and running events for other artists in Ibiza and around the world, and eventually achieved several of her own musical dreams such as playing ASOT in Den Bosch, performing live at BBC Radio One in Ibiza and DJing to over 35,000 people at Indiafest in Goa. For the last few years Vicky has held a residency at Ibiza’s much loved classics night “One More Time” joining an array of musical legends and which has seen her return to the Eden main stage during the summer months. Recently signing with respected booking agency “Made Artists” and releasing new music as well as juggling all this with an A&R, Licensing and Artist Management position now at Truelove Music Publishing, Vicky's hard work is testament to her love of all things music and one of the reasons she continues to be at the forefront in todays dance music scene.

DAMMY-D
Being more than 20 years in the DJ industry originally from Sri Lanka, Dammy D has made a name for himself by remaining ahead not only in his choice of music but with his way of playing as well. Seamlessly blending one track into the next, he has the ability to take control of dance floor and to energise the crowd not to be disappointed. 

​While House Music has been his true love, his passions extend to Deep-House, Tech-House and Techno. Although Dammy D is not frequently playing in Melbourne, his talent is well-exposed in his monthly podcasts “Epic Obsession” with almost 20 episodes under his label Music-of-Pleasure.

His dedication, professionalism and determination which is reflected in his DJ sets has brought him to perform in many major Sri Lankan beach clubs contributing to making him resident DJ from 2005-2014 in Kingfisher, Lucky-Tuna, Mambos, Vibrations and lastly Funky-De-Bar which became his last home before leaving to Australia. This blooming-star was first recognised in “The Best DJ Championship, Sri Lanka” being 2007 2nd runner-up. Playing alongside with EJ Missy (MOS) and Muui (Patrick Carrera) and playing in Maldives-Islands during Winter season from 2008-2010 Dammy D has been identified to be one of the best.
