Here is a new track from ‘You And The Night’. The soundtrack pays tribute to French soundtracks from the 70's and is much more intimate than ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’ and the ‘Oblivion’ Soundtrack. This score is really for lovers and ghosts.

In the summer of 2013, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall which formed the basis of the "Above & Beyond Acoustic" studio album. The album was recorded in the spring and summer of 2013 and features a 24-piece orchestra.

"The acoustic project is a reconnection with the musicians that we were before we met", said Above & Beyond's Tony McGuinness. "The songs have been on an interesting journey to get here because we tend to write in a fairly acoustic way anyway. We don't just stick a bit of vocal over a dance track - that's not how we work. We try to start with a song and it's usually only later down the line that we take certain elements from that song and progress them into a more dancefloor-friendly version".

With Above & Beyond "Acoustic", the group are putting aside their CDJs and lighting rigs to showcase their deeply-rooted musicianship and classical training. A band first and foremost, Above & Beyond are songwriters as much as they are DJs. Working with three singers, a string quartet, harpist, drummer and bassist, Above & Beyond are pushing the boundaries of dance music. Tony McGuinness sings and plays guitar, mandolin and ukulele, Paavo Siljamäki plays the grand piano and cello, and Jono Grant plays the Rhodes piano, guitar and vibraphone.

This is my attempt at turning the early version of Morning Mr. Magpie into a rocky number, inspired by Electioneering from OK Computer. The tracks were recorded in only a few takes, with the intention of making it sound like a jam.

My cover of an unreleased Radiohead song. I recorded this song as my own interpretation of how Radiohead would have approached it in the studio. Arrangement and instrumentation is inspired by their '95 live performances, and the short clip from Grant Gee's documentary "Meeting People Is Easy".

The song is also known to fans as "Man o' War".

This is my homage to the band, and a gift to all the ateaseweb board members.

This is inspired by Radiohead's soundcheck performances of the song, and a lot of listens to In Rainbows and The King of Limbs.
Similarly to what I did previously with Follow Me Around, Big Boots and Videotape, I built up a full-band effect around an acoustic performance.

I was always very fond of Thom's acoustic version played at Latitude Festival 2009-07-19, along with Jonny's version from Norwegian Wood. Thank you to the extremely clean taping by Nanakey, I decided to use the Latitude recording for the basis of a remix track.

Thank you to Lana Chircop for letting me use her awesome acrylic painting as the cover art.

This was my first Radiohead remix, based off the "Follow Me Around" soundcheck performance on Grant Gee's documentary "Meeting People Is Easy".
I didn't have the same equipment back then as I have now, so the drums and guitars aren't quite as authentic sounding as I would have liked.

"I've always been a huge fan and I was always interested in their live concerts. So I got hold 
of some of their bootlegs and listened to the stuff they never really put out. I thought I'd do a little experiment and put all of the other instruments to them. I never intended to upload it all, but my mates told me I should to see what people think and I've been really surprised from the feedback I've got - it's really cool."
